Secretary Noem and her rogue agents are terrifying people. People—immigrants and Americans alike—are too scared to go to work, drop their kids off at school, go to doctors' appointments, and eat out. I’m impeaching Secretary Noem for violating public trust.
Every day, I talk to Illinoisans who are worried about groceries and bills. Families are hurting. While I’m working to lower your bills, Republicans are making the affordability crisis worse. You deserve better than elected officials who ignore your struggles.
Don’t leave your health to chance. Get Covered Illinois is giving you more time to find the right insurance. Sign up by January 31 to start your coverage on February 1. I’m fighting to lower healthcare costs and keep our families healthy. Learn more: getcovered.illinois.gov/get-started/...
Secretary Noem has called the impeachment against her “silly.” Secretary Noem, if you think impeachment is silly, then you are not taking our Constitution seriously. You answer to The People, and I will make sure of it
Safety shouldn’t be a "luxury feature." 🚗💨 If your car loses power or is in an accident, you shouldn't be trapped inside. I’m fighting to pass the SAFE Exit Act to ensure every vehicle has easy-to-find, manual door releases. Common sense safety > Sleek design.
No one—not the President nor ICE—is above the law. Kristi Noem has obstructed Congress, violated constitutional rights, and abused taxpayer dollars.     That’s why I support @robinkelly.house.gov’s impeachment effort Noem. Let's build the case and bring accountability to ICE.
Medical research is only as good as the data behind it. I’m proud to introduce the bipartisan & bicameral NIH Clinical Trial Integrity Act to ensure clinical trials include people of all backgrounds. Making research more accessible so life-saving treatments work for everyone.
Today is #ReligiousFreedomDay. I believe every individual should have the fundamental right to practice their faith and express their beliefs freely. I’m incredibly grateful to the veterans and faith leaders who work tirelessly to protect this cornerstone of our democracy.
The ICE raid in South Shore left destruction and families devastated. Since then, I’ve been building the case against Sec. Noem. Her disregard for the truth and due process exposes her incompetence and unconstitutional actions. I filed 3 articles of impeachment to end her reign of terror.
The same lawless terror ICE unleashed on Chicago is now haunting Minneapolis. Yesterday, I filed 3 articles of impeachment against Secretary Noem for her warrantless raids and blatant obstruction. Our Constitution is not a suggestion. These lawless actions must end now.
Over 80 members now cosponsor my Articles of Impeachment against DHS Sec. Noem. Sec. Noem’s gestapo-style tactics and reckless leadership have left communities and families devastated. Share how these actions have impacted you:
By rolling back broadband transparency and delaying multilingual emergency alerts, the FCC is leaving our communities less safe and less connected. The FCC should be independent of President Trump and prioritize the American people over partisan agendas.
From threatening licenses to attacking PBS, let’s be clear: Education and free speech are NOT bargaining chips for political loyalty. This isn’t oversight or leadership—it’s an abuse of power. 🧵⬇️
Today, FCC Chairman Carr came before the @EnergyCommerce Committee. I am deeply troubled by him converting an independent watchdog agency into a political tool for President Trump. We cannot allow our federal agencies to be used to settle personal scores or reward political friends. 🧵⬇️
Trump’s war on Chicago has brought nothing but destruction. Sec. Noem’s raids are targeting our families and spreading fear. This stops now. I filed articles of impeachment against her today. I am standing up for Chicago and holding this leadership accountable.
I am supporting Congresswoman Robin Kelly’s effort to impeach Secretary Kristi Noem. Under Secretary Noem’s leadership, the Department of Homeland Security has terrorized communities across the country, incited unnecessary violence and fear, and unlawfully targeted American citizens.
I officially introduced articles of impeachment against Secretary Kristi Noem, who’s broken our Constitution as she unleashed her rogue agents across the country. Secretary Noem: the American people are watching you. And we are outraged. I will hold you accountable.
I’m taking the fight for better healthcare straight to the insurance companies. They decide which hospitals stay in your network and how quality is measured. I’m demanding they use that power to improve maternal health, so no other mother experiences the same trauma as Mercedes Wells.
