Our nation’s veterans deserve support, not cuts. I’ll keep fighting to make sure they get the benefits they earned.

Veterans spoke out and won.
Earlier this month, the VA proposed a new rule that would have changed disability rating criteria and put earned benefits at risk for those who served our nation. I stood alongside veterans in southern Nevada to raise the alarm against this harmful rule.
🚨ACCEPTING REQUESTS 🚨
As southern Nevada’s voice on the House Appropriations Committee, my top priority is returning federal dollars to our community.

Honored to receive the Distinguished Community Health Champion Award from the Nevada Primary Care Association. So glad they could meet with me in Washington to talk about strengthening community health centers and protecting programs like 340B that help keep care affordable for Nevadans.
Republicans and Democrats must work together so families like Katie’s don’t have to choose between health care and buying groceries.
Tonight, I’m bringing Katie Provost as my guest to the State of the Union.
Katie is a Las Vegas working mom whose health care premium jumped from $85 to nearly $750 a month after Republicans ended the Affordable Care Act tax credits.

✅ Here’s how I’m putting money back in the pockets of southern Nevadans:
After more than a year of delays with the Social Security Administration, Peter contacted my office and I helped him get the $31,068 in benefits he was owed.
Had such a blast at the NAN Family Engagement Community Birthday Party and got to celebrate families, community connection, and uplift Black excellence here in southern Nevada and across our country.
Happy birthday to everyone born in February–including NAN’s own Dr. Bush!
So great to stop by Blo Las Vegas Southwest and meet with head stylist, Shawna. This woman-owned, family-run small business is a perfect example of the entrepreneurs who keep our local economy strong and our community vibrant.
So proud to have secured over $4 million in federal funding for the new fMRI machine at UNLV’s Division of Research. I look forward to seeing how it will strengthen research and enhance training for medical and health physics students here in southern Nevada.
Can’t wait to officially welcome the Athletics to Vegas! Grateful I had the chance to check out their new ballpark experience center at the UnCommons. Go A’s!
Sen. Cortez Masto and I are so glad that our common-sense Help Hoover Dam Act successfully made it through Congress with broad, bipartisan support and will cut through federal red tape and free tens of millions of dollars in long-stranded funding for Hoover Dam capital improvement projects. (3/3)
But sadly, not even a structural achievement as grand as the Hoover Dam is immune from aging, and its maintenance needs are mounting. (2/3)
The Hoover Dam is as much a wonder of the West today as it was when it first became part of the Nevada landscape 90 years ago, and it continues to provide us with power, water, and recreational opportunities. (1/3)
Good.
Tariffs make life more expensive for hardworking Americans and have taken a wrecking ball to southern Nevada’s tourism economy. At a time when costs are skyrocketing across the country, tariffs are the last thing families need.

In case you missed it: it’s snowing in Red Rock Canyon ❄️
So glad I had the chance to visit some LIUNA members out in the field and check out their progress on a Brightline West worksite!
Reach out to NDVS at (702) 224-6025, or find them on the first floor of the Southern Nevada VA Hospital. (3/3)
The Nevada Department of Veterans Services has VA accredited Veterans Service Officers that know the VA system, understand the paperwork, and work with you to file your claim the right way. The best part? It’s at no cost. (2/3)
