That’s why I will be reintroducing the Hire Student Veterans Act this Congress. We need this bipartisan, commonsense bill to provide our student veterans with the training, resources, and opportunities they need to start new careers, all while creating incentives for businesses to hire veterans ⬇️
As the daughter of a veteran, I am so grateful for the service of our servicemembers and the sacrifices they have made to keep our country safe. Wishing our veterans and military families across southern Nevada and around the country a very happy Veterans Day! Thank you for your service 🇺🇸
This week we’re celebrating Home Care Aide Week and all the essential work that home care aides do! I’m so grateful for the hard work of our 13,000 home care aides here in Nevada that helps keep our seniors and individuals with disabilities safe at home.
As too many in our state are being squeezed by rising costs, Nevadans need health care they can afford. Families in Nevada don’t need Republicans in Washington to jack up their costs more than they already have.
Today is National STEM Day! I’m working hard in Congress to bring back federal dollars to invest in STEM education so southern Nevada can have a strong workforce and keep our country at the forefront of scientific and technological advancements 🇺🇸
Had a chance to meet rising labor leaders at the AFL-CIO Organizing Institute. Workers are the backbone of southern Nevada. Together, we are fighting for better pay, labor standards, and a future for working families in our state.

🚨CHECK YOUR SNAP BALANCE 🛒 State officials recently announced that partial SNAP benefits are being issued to nearly 196,000 Nevada households. I'm grateful these Nevadans are receiving support to feed their families.
