Let’s get the story straight:
❌ “The Big Bill” killed the ACA Tax Credit that 85,000 Nevadans rely on to afford health care.
💰This money was used to give the rich and big corporations massive tax breaks
📈 Now, families are about to see their health care costs skyrocket.
Wishing a meaningful Yom Kippur to all who observe in southern Nevada and around the world. May this be a time of reflection and renewal.
G'mar Chatima Tovah.
Today, and every day, we are Vegas Strong. (5/5)
On this anniversary, we remember those we lost and continue our call for further action. I’m grateful to the first responders, nurses, doctors, and hospital staff who sprung into action that day to care for victims and save lives. (4/5)
Today, we continue to see devastating gun violence across our nation. Congress can and must do more to end this crisis. (3/5)
In the days, months, and years that followed, southern Nevadans united in strength and resilience and called for commonsense gun safety reform. I heard their calls. When I got to Congress, I worked across the aisle to pass the historic Bipartisan Safer Communities Act. But it is not enough. (2/5)
Eight years ago today, Las Vegas experienced the deadliest mass shooting in American history. That day, our community changed forever. 60 innocent souls were lost, more than 800 people were injured, and thousands of Nevadans were traumatized. (1/5)
If our servicemembers won't get paid because of this Republican shutdown, Members of Congress shouldn't either. I'll keep fighting to end this shutdown and make government work for Nevadans.
Last night, Republicans in Washington shut down the government to rip health care away from Nevadans and raise costs for ALL Americans.
Today, I requested that my salary be withheld until this reckless shutdown ends.
90 years ago today President Franklin D. Roosevelt dedicated the Boulder Dam— now the Hoover Dam.
Today, I’m fighting to pass my Help Hoover Dam Act to ensure this southern Nevada icon gets the resources it needs to power and support our communities for generations to come.
What’s missing here? Republicans. They want to shove health care cuts down the throats of all Americans and they can’t even show up. Sad.
In a matter of DAYS, tens of thousands of Nevada families will receive notifications that their health care costs are about to skyrocket.
Republicans in Washington must come to the negotiating table to stop this before it’s too late ⬇️

Thank you, Pastor Teis, for showing me around Southern Hills Church! It was great to learn more about your ministry and how you’re fostering community in southern Nevada.
When our local partners need help building workforce development programs, I’m there to deliver.
I’ve been able to secure over $13 million in federal funds for universities and local governments so that our workers and students have the resources they need to succeed! #WorkforceDevelopmentMonth
Happy I could stop by Sip Coffee Cafe to learn more about this unique food trailer that is traveling all around the Las Vegas Valley! I’m always ready to meet small businesses wherever they may be to hear how I can keep supporting them in Congress.
But recent cuts to Medicaid could prevent Shelby and other southern Nevadans from living on their own. Nevada families and communities deserve independence and security— not cuts to their health care. (2/2)
Thanks to Medicaid, Shelby is able to live with her family, attend school, and receive medical assistance. (1/2)
Throwback to when I worked with Republicans to stop the largest sell off of public lands in history.

Congratulations to Spread the Word Nevada on the grand opening of your new Forever Home!
Thanks for your tireless work to ensure every child in Nevada has access to books, literacy support, and the opportunity to thrive.
