Congress has received no clear answers. Meanwhile our servicemembers are being hunted by Iranian forces after being displaced from bombed-out bases, and their families deserve to know why they’re there and when they’re coming home.
Donald Trump launched an unauthorized war, and four weeks in, his stated goals shift almost daily. He and Hegseth have shared no plan, no strategy, and no end game.
Members of Congress are learning about the conduct of this war from the press. That is completely unacceptable. This war was launched without our approval, and it is being prosecuted without our oversight. Even some Republicans are now raising serious questions.
U.S. bases across the Middle East have been severely damaged. American troops are being hunted by Iranian forces as they relocate to hotels and makeshift sites. And the administration still has not given members of Congress any meaningful briefing on what is happening.
Fewer allies does not make America great. It makes us more isolated, more vulnerable, and it hands Russia and China exactly what they have always wanted: an America abandoned by its friends. The American people deserve to know how badly this president has damaged our standing in the world.
NATO allies. Countries whose soldiers have fought and died alongside ours for decades. They looked at this president and decided they had to prepare for the worst.
They brought blood supplies to treat the wounded. France, Germany, Norway, and Sweden quietly coordinated against us. This was not a drill. This was our closest allies preparing to fight Americans. Let that sink in.
This is truly insane, and it should be front page news across America. Denmark secretly deployed soldiers to Greenland prepared to blow up airport runways to stop a U.S. invasion.
TSA officers are not getting paid right now because Republicans are protecting ICE from basic accountability. The same standards every other law enforcement agency follows. Republicans won’t demand that from ICE, and we are all paying the price.

This is totally unacceptable. Prediction markets have become a tool for war profiteers. People with access to classified information about military operations can simply place bets, cash, and walk away anonymous.
No more loopholes. No more discretion left to a CFTC chair who has signaled he wants to loosen the rules, not tighten them.
No accountability or transparency. And currently, no federal prohibition strong enough to stop it. That is why Adam Schiff and I introduced the DEATH BETS Act. Our bill would explicitly ban  listing contracts tied to war, assassination, terrorism, or individual deaths.

He is now holding the entire country hostage to pass a bill making it harder for you to vote the way he just voted. Shameless hypocrisy.
This is your daily reminder that Trump and Republicans are spending billions of your tax dollars on an unauthorized war in Iran and Stephen Miller’s ICE agenda while gutting Medicaid, slashing SNAP, and driving up your health care costs.
