May we remember the unity, compassion, and resilience of our nation in those days, particularly as we face deep divisions and difficult times.

In the aftermath of that horrific attack, neighbors helped neighbors and strangers stood side by side.
Today marks 24 years since nearly 3,000 lives were lost on September 11, 2001.
We honor the first responders, servicemembers, and ordinary Americans who sacrificed so much in the days and years that followed.
The attack on Charlie Kirk is horrific and disgusting.
Violence has no place in American politics.
We can debate fiercely and disagree passionately, but we must always resolve our differences peacefully and with basic respect for one another.
Trump’s approval is stuck underwater, but here’s the real headline: 78% of Americans support vaccines.
While Trump and RFK Jr. undermine science, the vast majority know vaccines save lives—and want leaders who respect facts.
Trump’s attacks on the Fed aren’t just reckless—they’re dangerous. Even business leaders who once supported him are warning this could fuel higher inflation and higher long-term rates. I’ve heard the same from leaders here at home.
This won’t end well.
Don't forget: Republicans claim they didn’t gut Medicaid—just added “accountability,” and that’s a LIE.
Their Big Ugly Bill slashes $1 trillion, imposes harsh red tape, and creates chaos that will push millions off their coverage.
All to fund a billionaire tax break.
At a time when we need leaders rooted in truth and science, Kennedy is fueling chaos and putting lives at risk.
We cannot normalize this behavior. RFK Jr. must resign.
Even Kennedy’s own family has said it plainly: his leadership is a danger to the health and well-being of every American.
The damage is not abstract. Since Trump empowered Kennedy at HHS, nearly $3.8 billion in NIH research grants have been terminated.
That means fewer clinical trials, fewer cures, and less hope for families facing cancer and other diseases.
In his Senate testimony last week, he spread dangerous conspiracy theories about vaccines, promoted junk science, and sowed distrust in our public health institutions.
Today, I am joining those calling on Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to resign.
Trump is again trying to ignore the Constitution by refusing to spend money Congress already passed into law.
The courts have said it’s illegal. Article I gives Congress the power of the purse—NOT the president.
This cannot stand. www.washingtonpost.com/politics/202...
The U.S. economy added just 22,000 jobs in August—the weakest growth since the pandemic era, with sectors like manufacturing and federal employment shrinking.
We fought hard to rebuild after 2020.
Families can’t afford to go backward. #Trumpflation
Social Security isn’t a game. But DOGE turned it into one—gutting expertise, spreading chaos, and putting earned benefits at risk.
Americans pay in their whole lives.
It’s a promise, not a playground, and it must be protected. www.propublica.org/article/insi...

RFK Jr. just said he sees “no successes” in the very health agencies he runs.
That’s absurd.
The CDC helped eradicate smallpox, combat HIV/AIDS, cut smoking, and save millions of lives with vaccines.
Undermining that legacy doesn’t protect Americans—it puts us all at risk.
Americans were promised relief by Trump and Republicans, but families are still feeling the squeeze. Where are rising costs hitting you and your family the hardest?

The Supreme Court just let Trump’s ICE “roving patrols” resume in LA.
Justice Sotomayor is right: countless people—citizens included—are being seized and humiliated simply for how they look or speak.
That’s unconstitutional, and it’s wrong.

Alignment stats consider only votes where a clear yes/no majority existed for the legislator's party. Cross-party marks divergence where the vote matched the opposite party majority. ↔ indicates cross-party divergence.
