If you're not one of Trump's billionaire friends, they don't care about you. Our number one priority must be advocating for our constituents; that's why I've always fought to expand access to healthcare, not rip it away from those who need it most.
President Trump cheats at golf, cheats on his taxes, and cheats his business partners. So of course he’s trying to cheat voters—he fears the people’s verdict.
Today marks the 62nd anniversary of the Civil Rights March on Washington. The fight for equality did not end in 1963—it remains our responsibility today. As the top Democrat on the Committee on House Administration, I'll keep fighting to protect access to the ballot box for all American voters.
We need to tackle the very real concerns Americans have: Bring down the cost of living. Protect lifesaving resources. Defend our democracy.
We need new ways to bridge divides and solve problems together. I’m hosting a town hall designed to bring more voices to the table—participants will be chosen by lottery to ensure balance and represent the diverse views of our community. Read more:
As parents send their kids back to school, costs are already a strain. Trump’s tariffs only make it worse. We need to focus on lowering costs and helping families make ends meet.
Today, on Women's Equality Day, we celebrate the trailblazers in Rochester and across the country who fought for women's suffrage. As we honor those who came before us, we must recognize the leaders who carry on that work and continue the fight for full equality.
The Trump administration pushed through a budget that puts millions of Americans at risk, and his tariffs are driving up costs for families. His actions now are an attempt to distract from the issues that are truly affecting our community.
Thanks to the Greater Rochester Association of Realtors for stopping in to discuss their work in our community. They provide education, information, and tools to help their members serve families across our region.
From their plant in Rochester, Nortera is keeping food on Americans' tables and strengthening our community. Grateful to spend some time with their team to hear about their work and how we can better support them.
We're going to do whatever we can to fight back against Trump's redistricting plans—and we can't do it with one hand tied behind our back.
I'm proud to support agriculture in our community and across New York State. I met with local farmers to talk about the upcoming farm bill and hear their concerns. I'll keep working as Vice Ranking Member of the Appropriations Committee to support the agricultural industry here in New York.
Honored to join Judge Geraci for a naturalization ceremony. This process stands as a reminder of our nation’s ability to welcome people from all corners of the world and create the beautiful tapestry of cultures and perspectives that make us all uniquely American.
I'm always excited to spend time with my brothers and sisters in labor @1199seiu.org! As the son of a union family, I know just how life-changing union membership can be, and I'm proud to continue fighting for a future where everyone's voice is heard.
Had an inspiring visit at Homesteads for Hope—a local community farm where everyone, regardless of ability, can find a place to belong. Here, apprentices are building confidence and purpose in nature’s classroom. Proud to work alongside them to support our neighbors.
