All through Gun Violence Awareness Month, I'll be joined by my colleagues in Congress to share stories that motivate them to end gun violence. Hear their stories and share your own! 🧡
Seems like a simple yes/no answer to me... do you stand by your decision or not? Disabled students and their families in Georgia would like to know.
McBATH: On Feb 10, you canceled a program that served over 1,600 disabled students. Do you stand by your decision to do that in middle of the school year without warning? McMAHON: I would like to explore that more McBATH: This is a yes or no McMAHON: Well, I'm not going to give you a yes or no
June is Gun Violence Awareness Month. We recognize the heartbreaking toll that gun violence has in our communities. I continue my fight to end gun violence with common-sense solutions in honor of those we have lost—like my Jordan—and the families left broken.

The Trump Administration is dismissing consent decrees with local law enforcement agencies, effectively removing federal oversight of police departments accused of civil rights abuses. @repsummerlee.bsky.social, @repjasmine.bsky.social, and @mcbath.house.gov are demanding the DOJ reverse course.
No one should live in fear because of their faith. We demand swift justice for the victims and action to confront both antisemitism and gun violence. Thoughts and prayers are not enough. Words are not enough. We must confront this hate with urgency and resolve.
I am sickened by the brutal shooting of a young Jewish couple last night in Washington, DC. This was a vile act of antisemitism and a horrific example of the gun violence plaguing our nation. This was not random. This was targeted and hateful. abcnews.go.com/US/2-shot-fb...
I’m saddened by the loss of our dear colleague and friend, Congressman Gerry Connolly. Gerry was a dedicated public servant, a fearless advocate for accountability, and a tireless champion for the American people. My heart is with his family, his staff, and those who knew him.
The House Republican attempts to cut health care impact 2 million people in Georgia—real people. We need to protect coverage for working families, not strip away their lifeline.
I joined @hankjohnson.house.gov in re-introducing legislation to help those who need it most get from point A to point B. This bill: 🚌 Provides $20B annually for public transit 🚌 Brings more frequent service on bus & rail lines 🚌 Prioritizes services to places with existing poor service
During National Police Week, I spoke in favor of legislation to improve officer safety and well-being. Mental health stigma and lack of resources prevent many from seeking help. Healthy officers are more effective public servants for our communities. We must act. youtube.com/shorts/NAJRR...
On Peace Officers Memorial Day, we honor and remember the brave men and women of law enforcement who gave their lives in the line of duty. We are forever grateful for their sacrifice and their dedication to protecting our communities.
