Four years have passed since Russia’s brutal & illegal assault in Ukraine.
The resilience & courage of our friends in Ukraine in the face of Russia’s invasion exemplify our shared values of freedom & democracy.
To all Ukrainians: I stand with you in solidarity & offer my unwavering support.

As our office works to get Adriana home, we will continue to fight back against the harm the Trump Administration is causing every day to all of our communities.
I'm going to the State of the Union tonight with the niece of my constituent, Adriana.
Adriana is being held by ICE despite having protected status under the Convention Against Torture.
I will stand with them today and every day until Adriana is back in New Jersey with her family and we stop the harm that the Trump Administration is inflicting on all of our communities.
Adriana, Monica, and their family deserve so much better from America than what Donald Trump, Kristi Noem, and ICE have subjected them to.
Monica’s aunt, Adriana Quiroz Zapata, faced horrors and abuse in her home country that no one should ever experience, only to be victimized again here in the United States by the Trump Administration.
Tonight, I am bringing Monica Isabel Van Housen to the State of the Union address.
Here's why. 🧵
A resident from Bayonne requested a refund of a stolen check from two years ago.
Following our inquiry, they received their refund in the full amount.
A resident from North Bergen reached out for help with incorrect and overcharged tolls.
Our team contacted EZ-Pass and resolved hundreds of dollars of tolling fees within a few short weeks.
A family from our district reached out for help resolving pending TPS cases and employment authorizations.
Within a month of contacting us, all pending applications were approved, and the family remains lawfully in the U.S.
Just a few of our casework highlights from the past few weeks 💌
If our team can ever be of assistance, please reach out. Visit menendez.house.gov/gethelp or call us at (201) 309-0301. We are here for you.🧵

Our constituent, Abdellatif Hafraoui from Bayonne, spent over 100 days in Delaney Hall after ICE arrested him at Newark Airport- despite having no criminal record.
After his family contacted our office, we were able to engage with federal agencies and get him back to NJ and later released on bond.
Due to continued impacts from the storm, our office in Jersey City will remain closed for in-person constituent services today.

I'm proud to lead legislation that expands urban farming and helps ensure every community has access to healthy, affordable food.
