Our office has been working for nearly a year to get Adriana home.
Being in the room when the federal judge ordered the Trump Administration to return her was an incredibly emotional moment.
We are one step closer—and we won't stop until she’s home.

I’m so proud of this team’s relentless hustle for our community. We won’t stop fighting for everyone who calls NJ-08 home.
The absolute best part of this job is this right here. I just got to call our caseworker who has been pouring their heart and soul into Adriana’s case for over a year to share the news from court.
Codify oversight. Protect our communities.
Our fight will go on until she is finally back home with her family.
🚨🚨A federal judge has ordered ICE to take all available steps to bring Adriana back to the US!
I was proud to be with her lawyer during today’s hearing in DC and grateful for our incredible team who has been working on this matter with such skill and care.
Since my first day in Congress, I have fought to ban private detention centers in New Jersey and across the country. This appointment only proves how broken the system remains. We’re going to keep holding the Administration accountable.
Putting a GEO Group executive who has profited off of ICE ripping families apart is just doubling down on a system that prioritizes profits over people.
That’s why Rep. McIver, Rep. Watson Coleman, & I are introducing legislation to reaffirm the right for Congress to conduct oversight visits & our commitment to correcting the course our country is on. Our fight continues - together.
The Trump Admin tried to prevent us from entering Delaney Hall a year ago but they couldn’t stop us then & they can’t stop us now.
I was in Newark ahead of the Roxbury hearing yesterday and one thing remains true: ICE's plan for a ICE warehouse in Roxbury runs counter to our state's values and we’ve led the fight against it from day one.
Join the fight:
Trump lives in a world that is detached from the average American.
…..meanwhile House Democrats are ready to lower costs, end Trump’s illegal war, and make government work for you.
During #MentalHealthAwarenessMonth, know you are never alone.
As Chair of the Dads Caucus’ Mental Health Working Group, I’m committed to breaking the stigma around mental health, raising awareness, and ensuring that we all have the support we need. There are resources available for you:

Today, I joined @repbonnie.bsky.social @menendez.house.gov to make one thing clear: we will expose all abuses ICE is trying to keep in the dark.
The Trump administration is trying to block oversight and intimidate critics. My new bill protects our right to hold leaders accountable.

Oversight is how we keep people’s rights and dignity from being taken away by this cruel administration. ICE can’t operate in the dark—we won’t let them. A year after Delaney Hall, I’m introducing the No Delay for Immigration Oversight Act with @repbonnie.bsky.social and @menendez.house.gov.

Thank you, @menendez.house.gov, for meeting with AFT New Jersey members today to discuss some of the main issues facing educators, students and residents in CD 8 and across the state.
No family should have to navigate the challenges of a developmental disability alone.
Proud to introduce legislation to create the first-ever 24/7 toll-free hotline specifically for caregivers—ensuring our neighbors always have a place to turn for support.
Forever thankful for the people and the places that make this district what it is.
Our team is working to deliver results every day—and we want to keep you informed every step of the way. Subscribe to our newsletter at the link in our bio.
Update: Back at Delaney Hall this morning with Rep. Pou to meet with constituents and follow up on health services at the facility from our last visit.
No improvements—only more heartbreaking stories. We need to keep the pressure on to close this facility - for good.
We are demanding the FAA work with Congress to bring these ‘ghost flights’ into the light and ensure every flight meets the basic safety and humanitarian standards our neighbors deserve.
