I appear to live rent free in the minds of some of my Republican colleagues. I wish that they would spend even a fraction of the time that they spend thinking about me, thinking about how to lower costs for American families.
I was proud to address a full room of reproductive care providers, including leaders from Delaware, whom I met with in my office this week, at the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists’ Annual Congressional Leadership Conference this week. (1/2)

House Democrats stand united for a four-week funding extension that stops harmful cuts, keeps government open, and allows Congress to reach a true bipartisan funding agreement. I am ready to vote today, tomorrow or Friday to pass a bipartisan extension.
This is a shameful attack on workers’ rights that will have a direct impact on our safety and security when traveling, and I will continue to stand with our federal workers in the face of any and all assaults from this administration. (2/2)
As part of this administration’s efforts to gut our federal workforce, they’ve now decided to end collective bargaining for Transportation Security Officers and abolish the American Federation of Government Employees’ collective bargaining agreement with the Department of Homeland Security. (1/2)
It was great to join the Delaware League of Local Governments recently for its annual dinner at the Cheswold Volunteer Fire Company. And it was great to see them again today in Washington, DC for their annual Hill Day! I'll continue to do all I can to strengthen our localities and municipalities.

After I learned that DOGE terminated CLASI's fair housing enforcement grant — about 4% of its annual budget — I took to the House floor to highlight the real-world impact of the decades of work by Delaware's sole enforcer of federal fair housing laws. (2/2)
For many of our most vulnerable residents, including individuals with disabilities, survivors of domestic violence, and low-income families, the Community Legal Aid Society of Delaware (CLASI) has been a beacon of hope and a lifeline in pursuit of safe, quality, and affordable housing. (1/2)
I'll be voting no on the partisan CR today. But are you wondering what the hell a CR is? Let me break it down for you and why it's no way to fund our government. If Republicans want to return to the negotiating table and craft a bipartisan path forward, they know where to find us.
I was proud to stop by Easterseals Delaware & Maryland’s Eastern Shore’s annual Volleyball Challenge in Newark today to celebrate all it does throughout the year to support our seniors, people with disabilities, and their families live independently and with dignity.

The airmen, civilian employees, and families at DAFB play a critical role in our nation's safety and security. I'm not only proud to represent them, but I am committed to supporting our servicemembers and their families in Congress. (2/2)
Today marks 60 years since Bloody Sunday, when, in pursuit of protecting voting rights, the late Congressman John Lewis and hundreds of peaceful marchers were brutally attacked on the Edmund Pettus Bridge in Selma, Alabama. (1/2)

I'm grateful to have joined several literacy organizations at the Wilmington Public Library tonight for a Literacy Pep Rally, where we shared valuable resources and recommitted to the work needed to guarantee that every Delawarean can develop strong literacy skills and reach their fullest potential.
