This is unacceptable–big banks are blatantly eliminating DEI goals for their boards.
This will only hurt investors, who want to know that these boards represent their financial interests.
We need transparency from big banks–and my Greater Supervision in Banking Act would do just that.

Losing your hair to illness is traumatic & patients should be able to wear a wig without breaking the bank. Last week, @pressley.house.gov, @blumenthal.senate.gov, & I reintroduced the WIGS bill, which requires Medicare to cover medically necessary wigs, making this treatment accessible for all.
Black books & authors matter.
And our babies deserve to see themselves reflected in our literature.
TY to everyone who came out for our Black History Month story hour at Frugal Bookstore in Roxbury.
What an honor to join Somerville RSJ to discuss the civil rights movement & how it impacts our work today.
As we celebrate the life & legacy of Rev. Jackson, it was a joy to be in community with leaders & fighters of the civil rights movement we are very much still in.
Every worker should be safe in their workplace–and that shouldn’t be controversial.
While the Trump Admin weakens workplace protections, we're fighting back.
Our Be HEARD Act would take critical steps to ensure workers can seek the accountability they deserve when their rights are violated.
SCOTUS has affirmed what we’ve always known: Trump’s reckless tariffs are illegal & unconstitutional.
This is a victory for working people & small businesses, and the $134 billion in revenue should go to them. #TrumpTariffRefund
In Boston today, I convened immigrant small business owners for a conversation about how Trump’s attacks on our immigrant communities are impacting the businesses that are essential to our communities and local economies.

Grateful to join 32BJ SEIU today to rally for Harvard custodians and security workers as they fight for fair wages and the benefits they deserve.

Wishing a blessed Ash Wednesday to those observing in the #MA7 and around the world.
May this be a season of reflection on what binds us: our shared humanity and hope for renewal.
This Black History Month, I’m grateful to join the Somerville Department of Social and Racial Justice for a panel discussion on the civil rights movement and how it continues to shape our fight for a better future.

My heart goes out to the Jackson family and my dear colleague and friend @RepJackson—we stand with you & for you in this trying time.
We are somebody because of you, Rev Jackson. Rest in peace and power.
But he will also be remembered for the quiet moments. If you were in his company, you would feel seen. You would feel seen in your own struggle to be understood, in the fight for this country.
His fight for justice, for humanity, for Black liberation & Black joy lives on in every one of us.
I grew up as one of the community children of Rev. Jackson. I grew up proximate to the work of operation PUSH & Rainbow PUSH coalition and his dynamic leadership.
He is rightfully praised as one of the most consequential figures of the 21st century, an early architect of the Civil Rights Movement.
I woke up today and still couldn’t believe this is true. Admittedly, I’m very much in denial.
As many have heard me say, Chicago is the city that raised me, and Boston is the city that changed me.
Ramadan Mubarak!
Wishing our Muslim neighbors in the #MA7 & around the globe a rewarding month of joy, peace, & community.
Wishing a Happy Lunar New Year and a prosperous year ahead to those in the #MA7 & across the globe!
It was a joy to ring in the new year at a festival with the Vietnamese American Community of Massachusetts.
@repilhan.bsky.social invited me to join her in Minnesota to check on communities terrorized by ICE.
Minnesotans are showing up for their neighbors, proving what's possible when we unite for good.
We’ll continue to stand up for our immigrant communities & fight to abolish ICE.
Never too late for a Valentine’s Day card from your Congresswoman 💟
We can never get true justice for those killed by ICE. Because true justice would mean they would be alive today.
But our demands for accountability remain clear:
Abolish ICE.
Impeach Kristi Noem.
End qualified immunity.
Policy is my love language.
Here are a few policies I’m fighting for this Valentine’s Day:
