BREAKING: ICE killed a Minnesota woman in broad daylight & there must be accountability.
But when I moved to subpoena all records & footage related to this murder, Republicans voted it down.
They've never cared about law & order or keeping our communities safe.
Republicans claim to care about fraud.
But they support Trump pardoning his friends, corporations, & insurrectionists that were convicted of defrauding the public.
Accountability means nothing to these hypocrites.
While Trump & Republicans threaten more endless wars, Democrats are focused on lowering healthcare costs here at home.
We've forced a vote this week to extend the ACA subsidies and prevent healthcare premiums from skyrocketing.
Republicans must join us NOW before it's too late.

A huge step in the right direction in Wyoming today, affirming Wyomingites' right to abortion!
While this is great news, we must continue to fight to ensure that everybody in Wyoming has access to care & never has to worry about their freedom being stripped in the future.
January 6th made it painfully clear: indifference and inaction lead to insurrection.
Trump has used his clemency power to attempt to erase & whitewash history by pardoning over 1,500 Jan 6th insurrectionists, as my report shows.
But we must remember Jan 6th for what it was:
A violent white supremacist insurrection to overturn an election, incited by Trump.
I'll never forget what it was like to be inside the Capitol complex on Jan 6th.
We didn't know if we'd make it home to our families.
For those impacted—officers, staff, service workers, journalists, members & more—we'll never stop pursuing accountability, starting with Trump.
The January 6th insurrection will forever be a damning stain in American history.
Five years later, as Trump continues attacking our democracy, we must never abdicate our responsibility to pursue accountability and tell the truth about what happened that day.
My full statement:
In Everett, community isn't just a word—it’s a practice.
While Trump attacks our families, Everett has stood strong and shown up for our neighbors.
I'm so proud to represent them in Congress and to congratulate Mayor Van Campen & Everett city leaders at their inaugural exercises tonight.
Trump's DOJ has only released about 5% of the 5 million Epstein files in its possession, many of which were entirely redacted.
This is NOT transparency—it's a brazen coverup & violation of federal law.
Pam Bondi must release all the files NOW. Survivors have waited long enough.
Trump's unconstitutional attack on Venezuela has nothing to do with drugs & everything to do with oil & natural resources.
And it's a distraction from his failed policies at home.
Congress must pass a war powers resolution to reassert its authority & stop this unauthorized war.
Trump's bombing of Venezuela, kidnapping of Maduro & attempt to run the country are brazen violations of our Constitution & int'l law.
It will endanger US lives, destabilize the region, & cost us billions of dollars.
Congress must stop this endless war & hold Trump accountable.
My report makes it plain: Trump has used his pardon power to reward political allies, corporations, & insurrectionists—ignoring the people who need it most.
He must change course and prioritize clemency for people directly harmed by mass incarceration & systemic injustice.
Happy Haitian Independence Day! 🇭🇹
As Haiti Caucus Co-Chair, I'm proud that such a vibrant Haitian community calls the #MA7 home.
I'm grateful for their contributions, their unbreakable spirit, & everything they do to make our district and country better.
Happy New Year, #MA7!
It may be a new year, but our priorities and work together won't change.
A more just, equitable America is possible.
In a year where Trump attacked everything but the cost of living, we used every tool available to fight back.
We led 20 pieces of legislation & sent dozens of Congressional letters to demand Republicans change course, & advance our vision for a better future.
Here are a few:
Trump must prioritize clemency for people directly harmed by mass incarceration.
Together, we rejected Trump's cruel attacks on our community members.
We stood up, fought back & showed what community really looks like.
From bringing Rümeysa Öztürk & Paul Dama home to advocating for the Allston carwash workers—we'll keep holding this White House accountable.
We’ve secured millions in federal funding for the #MA7, and saw many of those projects come to life in 2025.
We helped expand digital literacy programs, invest in childcare & education programming, and open the doors of a new state-of-the-art community health center.
Housing is health, dignity, stability, & community.
That's why I'm proud to see my Eviction Helpline Act & Helping More Families Save Act pass out of committee.
Congress must pass these bills without delay, & we must keep fighting to affirm housing as the human right it is.
