I convened local leaders to discuss improving safety, mobility, & emergency access in the Pass Area. By working together on projects like the Pennsylvania Ave. Grade Separation Project, we can reduce rail crossing delays, improve emergency response, & deliver safer infrastructure for residents.

🚨Veterans, we hear you loud and clear: WE MUST PASS THE MAJOR RICHARD STAR ACT.
I’m like a kid at a candy store with my hedge trimmer Father’s Day gift. Happy Father’s Day to all the dads out there!
Another $2 million secured for Beaumont. This Community Project Funding will advance the Pennsylvania Ave Grade Separation, improving travel & reducing traffic disruptions caused by Union Pacific blockages.
Improved infrastructure means reliable access to the resources our communities depend on.
Congratulations to Cordoba Corporation on its new El Centro Regional Office! Investing in infrastructure and workforce development creates career pathways, supports local businesses, and expands job opportunity for working people across Imperial Valley.
Thrilled to help secure $1,015,000 in federal funds for Westmorland Police & Fire Departments to create jobs and strengthen public safety infrastructure in Imperial Valley. This investment will improve emergency response, support first responders, and make our communities safer for working people.
No first responder should have to work in these unacceptable conditions.
Can’t wait for the City of Westmorland to upgrade their Emergency Operation Center facilities made possible through the USDA and Community Project Funding.
Be on the lookout for updates on The #ShoreFire. If you're in an affected area, follow evacuation orders immediately and rely on official emergency alerts for updates. Stay safe, and thank you to our firefighters and first responders protecting our communities.
Today, I met with Leadership Counsel to discuss the status of the Desert View Power Plant cleanup and hear directly from community advocates about ongoing concerns in the Eastern Coachella Valley.

14 years ago, America invested in the potential of Dreamers. Since then, DACA recipients have built careers, raised families, paid taxes, and strengthened communities across the country. After 14 years of success, Dreamers deserve permanent protections—not uncertainty.

If you want to lower health care costs, you don't cut $1 trillion from Medicaid. Transparency is needed. But showing patients how much, they're getting ripped off doesn't stop them from getting ripped off.
Let's do the real work.
106 years. 🍒
That’s how long Beaumont has been celebrating the Cherry Festival. I was so glad to introduce our hometown star and American Idol winner, Abi Carter, to the stage.
If you’re in the area this weekend, come out to the Cherry Festival for great food, rides, and good times! 🎢
We listened. We learned. Now we get to work.
Community health centers are the backbone of health care in our communities, and today their leaders showed us exactly how to make them stronger.
Thank you to everyone who joined us.
Today, I had the privilege of listening to Tribal leaders and working together on solutions to protect our lands and sacred sites for generations to come. Grateful for their wisdom.
I sat with residents along the New River & listened. Breathing problems. Eye irritation. Skin conditions. Cancer. This is what this river is doing to our communities and it has been ignored for far too long.
I brought federal leaders here to hear it firsthand. The work continues until this is fixed.
I celebrated the 2026 Congressional Art Competition winners with students, families, and teachers!
“Puppeteered by the Fear” by Karina Simo Vazquez will be hung in the halls of the U.S. Capitol for visitors to view and enjoy.
I love seeing the creativity and work of our communities’ youth. 🎨🖌️🖼️
I convened growers across CA-25. Tariffs, rising gas prices, and supply costs are straining our regional economy. We discussed bold ideas, from strengthening buy local initiatives to tackling food insecurity head on. I am working to introduce legislation that puts our farmers and communities first.
Prepare for festival season with local road closures. Be safe and have fun!
Bracket-ing out time to celebrate women’s greatness 🏀💪 Congressman Ruiz and team making their picks for Women’s March Madness, because supporting women’s excellence is always a winning play.
Join me and other veterans organizations at Veterans University on March 28!
We will be discussing how to access benefits and resources available to veterans and their loved ones. Can’t wait to see you there!
