I was proud to cosponsor the Epstein Files Transparency Act to push for the full release of all documents relating to Jeffrey Epstein.
The cost of inflation under the Trump administration has cost Washington families an extra $948 so far this year.

I was proud to introduce the Protect Adoptees and American Families Act this year, which would provide long overdue citizenship to international adoptees who were legally adopted in the U.S. but never gained citizenship status due to a gap in current law.

ACA marketplace coverage will also increase drastically in 2026, risking the health care coverage for millions more Americans. Leaving Americans uninsured damages the entire system, causing a ripple effect through the health care market.
In 2026, there's a higher risk that more Americans will go uninsured. Medicare Part B premiums will increase by almost 10% and potentially risk the health care coverage of 64 million Medicare recipients.
Our country cannot afford to pay more for all types of health care coverage next year, and it's time to address this ongoing health care crisis.

The Trump Administration is weakening our health care system by systematically cutting funding and access to care.
As a direct result of President Trump's Big Ugly Bill, almost 300 jobs will be cut from Providence Swedish's First Hill, Cherry Hill, Ballard, and Issaquah hospitals and clinics. These are not the only layoffs we've seen in our health care system in Washington state in recent months.

Last night, I held a virtual town hall with over 13,000 constituents. To open up our conversation, I spoke about affordability and tackling the high costs of health care, housing, and energy.
Trump's tariffs are driving up prices and hurting the cost of living in this country.
Earlier this month, I sat down with local experts for a food insecurity roundtable to discuss the impacts of SNAP cuts, demand for services, and reduced funding to purchase food. Hunger should never be weaponized in our country, and I look forward to continuing our work to bring food to the table.
