The Republican Party just betrayed the American people to give tax cuts to billionaires. It’s shameful.
The fight goes on, and my top priority remains protecting the health and dignity of every American.
Many of my GOP colleagues are going against their own beliefs just to jam this Big Ugly Bill through and get it to President Trump’s desk by an arbitrary deadline.
The American people deserve better and will not forget.
It’s not too late. Vote NO!
I’m not just a no on Trump’s Big Ugly Bill, I’m a HELL NO!
We can’t let the House Floor turn into a crime scene.
If Republicans proceed with stripping health care from 17 million Americans, 51,000 people will die each year. All this to give tax cuts to billionaires.
The Senate Floor is now a crime scene.
Trump's Big Ugly Bill will kill 51,000 Americans each year.
This is what happens when you kick seniors, sick people, and poor individuals off their health insurance.
All of this to give tax cuts to billionaires. Shameful!
Not to mention ripping food out of the mouths of hungry children. All to give tax cuts to billionaires.
It’s not too late, vote NO!
To my Republican colleagues in the Senate: Before you vote on this Big Ugly Bill, think about it.
How are you going to sleep at night knowing YOUR VOTE will single-handedly strip health care away from millions of your fellow Americans, and could even kill some of your very own constituents?
Trump's Big Ugly Bill will kick countless people off their health care to give tax cuts to billionaires. We have to fight!
My dear friend, @petermorley.bsky.social, is a disabled patient advocate, a two-time cancer survivor and a health care activist who lives with chronic illness.
Peter is just one of the millions of Americans who rely on Medicaid funding to get the care he needs.
Americans depend on the @cpsc.gov to keep dangerous products away from our families - especially our kids.
Yet, the Trump Administration’s budget request proposes to eliminate the agency.
Our country needs and deserves a strong, independent consumer watchdog. Lives are at stake.
The power of the people is greater than the people in power.
I joined hundreds of @seiu.org members on a sweltering DC day to make our voices heard loud and clear.
Medicaid is a lifesaver. We can’t let the GOP rip away health care from millions to give tax cuts to billionaires.
Today, the Supreme Court ruled that states can cut off Medicaid funding to Planned Parenthood.
People all over will be cut off from their breast exams, vaccines, mental health care, and so much more.
I just joined protests outside the court because health care is a human right.
Ten years ago, the Supreme Court ruled that love is love!🏳️🌈❤️
We're grateful to all the advocates who made their voices heard, whether in the streets or around the dinner table.
There'll be more victories to come. We'll keep marching on until we establish equal rights for all.
The American people do not want another endless war in the Middle East.
The House must immediately vote on a War Powers resolution.
Donald Trump gutted the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, and it cost Americans $18 billion.
Higher bank fees, dropped enforcement cases, and zero accountability.
This is what deregulation looks like: a gift to big banks, paid for by working families.
For my entire career, I’ve worked to advance reproductive freedom, and I'm not backing down now.
Today, I'm proud to join my @reprocaucus.bsky.social Caucus colleagues in reintroducing the Women’s Health Protection Act.
Abortion is health care, and health care is a fundamental human right.
I’ll always remember the horrifying story of my friend’s back-alley abortion pre-Roe v. Wade.
Now, three years after the rogue Supreme Court overturned Roe, we're hearing the same devastating accounts.
Women are dying because they can't access lifesaving abortion care.
Marely is now almost two years old. She enjoys playing with her toys, watching Ms. Rachel, and learning how to crawl.
Medicaid is a lifeline.
We owe it to our families and health care workers to stand up against those attempting to tear down this lifesaving program.
Meet Marley. At only three months old, she had a successful heart transplant.
Medicaid is the reason Marely’s family can afford her portable ventilator, feeding tube, nursing support, and medical crib.
The GOP’s proposed cuts to Medicaid would hurt countless children, in addition to Marely.
Everyone must disengage and come to the table.
