I said it before, and I’ll say it again: the overwhelming majority of Americans DO NOT want war in the Middle East.
President Trump’s actions are unconstitutional. Only Congress has the power to declare war. Congress must immediately vote on the bipartisan War Powers Resolution.

Cuts to Medicaid will kick millions off their health care and will harm our health care providers.
Don't believe me? Listen to AHS Family Health Center, a superb provider in my district that has worked for years to improve access to care for underserved communities in the Chicago area.
The American people overwhelmingly do not want another war in the Middle East. Diplomacy, not military action, remains the answer.
Juneteenth is a day for us all to talk about our past and look towards our future.
I will not stop fighting until every American enjoys the full set of rights and privileges to which they are entitled.
On Juneteenth, we celebrate the end of slavery in America and recognize the need to continue the fight for racial equality.
Despite the great progress we have made, there is still a lot more work to be done to address the legacy of slavery.
The US Treasury just reported that Social Security funds will run out by 2034.
Social Security is not an entitlement, it's your hard-earned money!
Some of my GOP colleagues still seek to cut benefits, but I've introduced a bill to expand Social Security's solvency by 75 years.
Families across the country may now be forced to leave their state to ensure their kids can access medically necessary care.
As the proud grandma of a young trans man, I know that gender-affirming care can help trans youth live openly and authentically.
This fight isn't over.
While Big Pharma companies rake in billions of $$$ in profits & pay next to nothing in taxes, Americans are struggling to afford their lifesaving medications.
@SenWarren & I have had enough.
We're demanding answers about Pharma's role in extending massive tax cuts for the pharmaceutical industry.
Congrats to David from Glenbrook North High School, my 2025 winner of the Congressional Artistic Discovery Competition!
David’s piece “Building Blocks” is an important reminder for us all that we never have to fit a mold.
Every moment, story, and experience shapes who we are.
For 13 years, DACA has
given young people the ability to learn, grow, and transform their lives in the US.
Now more than ever, we must find a pathway to citizenship for these students.
Our diversity is our strength and is something that should be celebrated. #HomeIsHere
Happy Father’s Day! ❤️
To all the fathers and father figures in the 9th District, and across the country — today we celebrate you and the positive impact you have on those around you.
Thank you for everything you do!
This morning’s attack in Minnesota is horrific and devastating. Political violence is never acceptable.
My thoughts are with Sen. Hoffman and his wife as they battle to survive, and with Rep. Hortman’s family, loved ones and community.
This violence must end.
This case was never just about three commissioners — it was about whether the American people deserve a strong, independent consumer watchdog.
I've said from the start that Donald Trump's firing of three Democratic @cpsc.gov Commissioners was illegal, and I'm glad to see the courts make it official.
I look forward to continuing to work with Commissioners Hoehn-Saric, Trumka, and Boyle to help consumers know what they buy is safe.
Your private genetic data shouldn't be for sale, period.
@ocasio-cortez.house.gov and I are leading our colleagues in demanding commitments from potential buyers of 23andMe.
We need comprehensive data privacy legislation to ensure the personal data of all Americans is protected.
House Democrats sent letters to the potential buyers of the genetic testing company, asking how they plan to protect customer genetic data under a change of ownership. www.wired.com/story/congre...
I also couldn't pass up the opportunity to see my dear friend and former colleague @governorwalz.mn.gov!
Thank you for always standing up for the rule of law and doing what is right.
Thank you for your strong leadership,
@govpritzker.illinois.gov!
Proud to work with you in serving the people of the greatest state in the nation.
@padilla.senate.gov, demanding answers, was literally dragged from a DHS event in his own state.
This blatant assault on Congressional oversight by Secretary Noem is utterly abhorrent, & I agree with the Hispanic Caucus in calling for a full investigation into her & her agency's thuggish behavior.
Today, we have the chance to refuse this blatant giveaway to Big Tech.
States have stepped in to stop companies from profiling kids, spreading deepfakes, and harvesting your data.
Republicans can vote NO to ensure we are protected. Don’t trade away state rights just to give Big Tech a free pass.
