TPS exists to protect people when it is unsafe for them to return home. Many of our Haitian neighbors sought refuge in our region when their homeland became unsafe. This Supreme Court ruling proves what we already knew: it was never about going after the worst of the worst.

Speaker Johnson can make this bill become law NOW by sending it to the President's desk and forcing him either to approve or veto it.
The reflecting pool on the mall was designed to mirror an evolving republic and inspire civic reflection. Under this administration, it has become a murky swamp, tainted by corruption and lies, dead waterfowl, and arrests of citizens seeking a closer look.
Now this Member of Congress is facing 17 years in prison for doing her job. I’m standing with @replamonica.bsky.social because oversight is constitutional, not a crime.
The Trump administration has refused to allow Members, including myself, to have legally required access to ICE detention centers, and it even instigated the arrest of @replamonica.bsky.social when she tried to visit a NJ facility.
Members of Congress have both the right and the duty to conduct oversight of detention centers when taxpayer dollars are being misspent.
