Prices are up and consumers are being hurt. Members from both parties have warned of the risks of ill-advised tariff wars for years.
Three years ago, a shooter murdered 5 people and wounded 19 others at Club Q in Colorado Springs. Today, we remember those lost and recommit to action — because everyone deserves to be safe in their community.
As hospitals close and patients struggle to access care, including telehealth, I’m fighting to protect affordable coverage and make permanent the telehealth flexibilities that families rely on every day.
Millions of Americans are losing health coverage and facing skyrocketing costs because of repeated Republican attacks on Medicaid, the ACA, and Medicare.
Great to meet with leaders from our district's IBEW to discuss how we can strengthen energy reliability, support domestic manufacturing, and protect thousands of union jobs. I’ll keep fighting to restore key energy tax credits and make sure union members have fair wages.
Proud to have been tapped by leadership to join the Democratic Litigation and Response Task Force to challenge the President’s unlawful actions and stand up for the rights of every American. We’re fighting this president in Congress, in the courts, and in the court of public opinion.
Now, this president stopped that process, ending any chance of passing the rule and siding with wealthy airline executives instead of American consumers. I’ll keep fighting to make sure passengers come first.
My Airline Passenger Bill of Rights protects travelers from unfair treatment by airline companies. The Biden Administration started the process for expanding those protections so passengers could be compensated for delayed or canceled flights.
The Trump administration’s DOT has canceled bike and pedestrian projects nationwide, eliminating investments that make our communities safer and healthier. I led my colleagues in demanding these projects be reinstated so we can keep building safer streets for everyone.
Grateful to our local leaders and first responders whose partnership made this rebuild possible.
Fire Station 5 stands as a symbol of Santa Rosa’s resilience after the Tubbs Fire. I’m proud to have secured $33 million in federal funding and worked to ensure the city had the flexibility to rebuild this station in a safer, more effective location.
Every student deserves that same opportunity.
This American Education Week, I’m proud to honor the public schools and educators who shape our nation's future. As someone who started my own journey in public schools, community colleges, and Chico State, I know firsthand how life-changing a strong public education can be.
Congratulations to Dana Johnson, Jaime Graff, and the entire Nimbus Arts team on this incredible milestone.
Great to stop by Nimbus Arts’ 20th Anniversary Open House in St. Helena. For two decades, Nimbus has been a creative hub that brings our community together and expands access to the arts for people of all ages.
Great to meet with the owner of Kabayan Filipino Market in Rohnert Park today. Small businesses like theirs enrich our community every day, and I’m committed to fighting for policies that protect our local entrepreneurs and keep our community strong.
As an avid cyclist, I know the importance of safe streets. On World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims, we remember those taken too soon and recommit to the work ahead: stronger bike and pedestrian infrastructure, safer speeds, and real action to prevent future tragedies. #WDoR2025
Santa Rosa is using $10 million made possible by the American Rescue Plan for this important project.
I helped secure funding for the temporary library that served this neighborhood well, and yesterday we began building its permanent home, along with a new fire station that will strengthen our region’s wildfire response.
Proud to join the Roseland community yesterday as we broke ground on the new Roseland Library and Fire Station #8.
