Congratulations to Coach Scott Boyle and the Lowell High School's Red Raiders on an incredible season – and on being named @patriots.bsky.social Coach of the Week! From an 8-1 record to their first Round of 16 win, Lowell is showing what hard work and grit can do. Big game in Springfield tomorrow!
Donald Trump's decision to withhold SNAP benefits during the shutdown was cruel and unnecessary. They had the money and the power to release it, but chose not to. We're fortunate to have @massgovernor.bsky.social and organizations like United Way of Massachusetts Bay who helped fill that void.
Republicans refused to swear in @adelitaforcongress.bsky.social for 50 DAYS after her election because she's the deciding vote to release the Epstein files. Yesterday, she was sworn in. The first thing she did was sign the petition that will force a vote to release the files. Let’s get it done!
Democrats will continue holding Republicans accountable for breaking their promise to lower costs and will keep fighting to protect Americans’ health care, defend SNAP benefits, and make life more affordable for the people we represent.
Trump and GOP leaders still have no plan to lower health care costs, no plan to help families afford their groceries and utility bills, and no plan to prevent this kind of reckless brinkmanship from happening again.
Instead of doing their jobs, House Republicans went on vacation while millions of Americans went without a paycheck and families faced mounting uncertainty. Now, after causing the longest government shutdown in our nation’s history, those same Republicans are taking a victory lap.
For seven weeks, Donald Trump and Republicans in Congress refused to work in good faith to protect Americans’ health care, help families put food on the table, and reopen the federal government.
On Veterans Day, we pause to honor those who answered the call to serve and to recommit ourselves to standing by them when they return home. To every veteran and their loved ones, thank you for your courage, sacrifice and service! 🇺🇸
It’s great to see Hudson receive nearly $2.9 million to offset PFAS cleanup costs! Responding to these forever chemicals can cost a fortune and decimate a community’s budget. Investments like this are essential to cleaning up our drinking water.
From the shores of Tripoli to raising the flag over Iwo Jima to today, generations of Marines have courageously defended the rights and freedoms we cherish. As we mark 250 years of the United States Marine Corps, please join me in wishing every Marine a happy birthday!
I’m reviewing the details of the Senate deal, but from day one my focus has been clear: lowering health care costs for the American people.   Movement toward reopening the government is good, but any deal must deliver real relief for working families. This one isn’t there yet.
Yesterday, @repmcgovern.bsky.social and I spoke with the North Central Chamber of Commerce about the issues that matter most to small businesses across the region, including their efforts to overcome higher prices caused by costly tariffs.
The Merrimack Valley Food Bank does so much to support folks in need across our region. Grateful for the opportunity to stop by and support their efforts this morning. We must restore SNAP and food bank funding immediately!
Families across Massachusetts are struggling to put food on the table as Trump ignores court orders to release critical SNAP benefits. @repmcgovern.bsky.social and I met with families who depend on food pantries to hear how they’re working to make ends meet.
Regardless of the underlying facts, no one should be subjected to that level of force by ICE in our community — especially in front of a child. We will continue seeking answers and accountability.
