On today's Democratic Daily Download, former Marine @carbajal.house.gov discuses today’s hearing that exposed Donald Trump and Elon Musk’s devastating cuts to the VA and how they’re firing veterans in critical jobs across the government.

As your representative, nothing is more important than hearing your concerns, answering your questions, and making sure I’m fighting for your priorities in Washington.
That’s why I’m inviting you to join me this Monday, April 14th at 6:30pm for a town hall in Marlborough!
Republicans in Congress just hit the American people with a one-two punch.
First, they voted to take away families' health care and food assistance. Then they passed a bill to strip 69 million Americans of their right to vote. What a disgrace.
This fight is far from over.
Make no mistake: The Republican budget puts the richest 0.1% of Americans first, and working families dead last.
Their bill cuts Medicaid and food assistance programs to fund massive tax breaks for the billionaires who funded their campaigns.
If you thought Donald Trump’s reckless decision to tank the economy was bad, this is going to make it so much worse.
I’m here to vote NO on this latest attempt to make sure Elon Musk gets his kickbacks from Republicans in power.
This morning, @energycommerce.bsky.social Democrats went to the Department of Health and Human Services to demand information on RFK Jr cutting federal pandemic response teams, birth defect monitors and other lifesaving health programs.
No one would explain why this is happening.
@hakeem-jeffries.bsky.social is on the House floor, ready to debate Speaker Mike Johnson on the merits of Republicans' disastrous budget bill.
But where’s the Speaker? Nowhere to be found—too busy jamming through cuts to Medicaid and handing tax breaks to his billionaire donors like Elon Musk.
Donald Trump didn’t just break his promise to protect Social Security – he’s now actively trying to gut it.
Millions of Americans could lose access to the benefits they earned.
This is an unimaginable loss for our community. We are doing everything we can to support the families affected – ensuring they have accurate information, access to resources, and the support they need during this incredibly difficult time. To everyone grieving, please know that we are with you.
Elon Musk has fired pandemic response teams and birth defect monitors. RFK Jr. is ignoring a deadly measles outbreak. And Trump’s tariffs are hiking prices for hospitals and patients.
@energycommerce.bsky.social Democrats will do what Republicans won't: Hold this administration accountable.
More than a million Americans are currently battling cancerous brain tumors. I introduced the bipartisan BRAIN Act to accelerate lifesaving research, drive innovative treatments, and offer much needed hope to patients and their loved ones fighting this dangerous disease.
Donald Trump's tariffs are going to increase costs by 10%, 20% or 50% a year. A family making $65k a year just won’t be able to overcome that massive price hike.

On today’s Democratic Daily Download, @democrats-cha.house.gov Ranking Member Rep. Joe Morelle breaks down how House Republicans' so-called “SAVE” Act is a voter suppression bill that disenfranchises married women, undermines our elections, and weakens our democracy.
When DOGE is allowed to rummage through our sensitive data with no vetting or regard for confidentiality, ALL of us are put at risk.
Elon Musk and his hackers breached Americans’ privacy – we deserve answers.
We wouldn’t be here today without the brave men and women in uniform who selflessly risked their lives to defend our freedoms. They deserve nothing less than our full support – not the cruel loss of health care and housing without warning.
Today, I was thrilled to celebrate over $12 million in federal funding from the #BipartisanInfrastructureLaw to improve safety and accessibility on Boston Road in Westford. It’s a privilege to deliver the support needed to make our communities a better place to call home.

Trump promised lower costs and a booming economy on day one. Instead, our economy is actively tanking and the cost of goods are about to get even more expensive.
Working families can't afford to pay the price of these Trump Tariffs.
More from @frost.house.gov on the Democratic Daily Download.
These are the people that the Trump Administration is directly harming by cutting Social Security Administration services that help resolve issues with their benefits.
Almost 140,000 hardworking folks across #MA3 receive monthly Social Security benefits because they paid into this program knowing it’d be there to help them retire with dignity.
