On #InternationalHolocaustRemembranceDay we honor the millions lost in this darkest human chapter.
During the recent Congressional Holocaust Commemoration on Capitol Hill, I stressed how we must fight antisemitism to ensure such horrors are not forgotten or repeated. #NeverAgain

So glad to join my synagogue, Temple Beth Emet, for their annual Mitzvah Day!
Today was all about acts of kindness & empathy, so we came together to do good deeds. I chose to make dog treats to donate to the Humane Society of Broward County because I’m such an animal lover. 🐶
Trump’s illegal move to freeze foreign assistance is a gift to our adversaries at the expense of U.S. national security.
This is a landmark victory for brutal dictators, radical terrorists, and transnational criminal organizations.

It reeks of hypocrisy and disrespect that one of this new president’s first acts is to turn his back on brave police officers who risked their lives to protect our Capitol and democracy from a violent mob that Trump himself instigated four years ago.
On day one, Trump let violent criminals roam free – and Republicans are standing with him, supporting people who beat, tased, pepper sprayed, and killed police officers.
David Dempsey beat police officers with a flagpole and sprayed their faces with pepper spray.
Trump gave him a full pardon.
DJ Rodriguez tased a police officer so many times he suffered a heart attack.
Trump gave him a full pardon.
Steven Cappuccio violently beat a police officer stuck in a door.
Trump gave him a full pardon.
Trump turned his back on brave police officers who risked their lives to protect our Capitol and democracy from a violent mob that Trump himself instigated four years ago.
Here's just a few of the violent criminals he's put back into our communities: 🧵
Trump halted President Biden’s efforts to slash generic drug prices to as low as $2 - a vicious gut punch to seniors.
Trump is lining Big Pharma’s pockets over making drugs affordable and keeping seniors healthy.
But honestly, that is because we will remain inseparable because ours is a relationship that has always been Bashert - Yiddish for “meant to be”.
Much love, DWS
As you move to the outer concentric circle of our team, you have my deepest thanks, love and excitement for your future. You’ve prepared us for this day, as you do for everything, so I have a sense of calm that I wasn’t expecting.
Through the highest of highs and thankfully, not that many lows, we’ve soared, succeeded and above all, served the people of the 20th, 23rd and 25th districts of Florida.
As she always says, “There is a season for everyone in your life.” The 20 year season, professionally, with my sister-friend, alter-ego, La Jefa and Chief of Staff comes to a close today. Tracie Pough, there are no adequate words for what you mean to me and have meant to legions of #TeamDWS alumni.

We already see harsher hurricanes, wildfires and extreme weather events impacting more Americans’ lives.
Trump’s reckless rejection of the Paris Accord promises more of the same, all while enriching Big Oil donors and leaving taxpayers to pay the costs.
