Fiscal insanity is: 📈Adding trillions to the national debt ❌Cutting critical health and food assistance for our communities   💸All to pay for tax breaks for billionaires   America first is not hard-working people last.
Rhode Island is receiving $251 million in unfrozen funding to support critical transportation infrastructure projects.🚧   Our delegation will continue working to secure federal funding to deliver safe, reliable, and sustainable infrastructure.
Through @epw.senate.gov, I successfully pushed to release funds for major RI infrastructure projects. As a result, USDOT is freeing a quarter billion dollars we had secured for the I-95 bridge repairs on top of our previously announced $221 million emergency Washington Bridge funding.
Congratulations and best wishes to the new Holy Father: Pope Leo XIV, the first-ever American pope! May he advance in his own way Pope Francis’ model of service — leading the Vatican with humility, compassion, and empathy for all of God’s people.
In Rhode Island, Easterseals RI provides essential support to ensure children & young adults with disabilities or special needs and their families have equal opportunities to thrive. If Republicans succeed in cutting Medicaid, many people with disabilities would suffer.
This morning, the Congressional Budget Office said that Republican plans would cause ~2.4 million people to lose access to health care. But for the Senate GOP, that’s not enough— they want to go even bigger with cuts to hurt millions more.   All of this just to offset a tax scam for wealthy people.
Today, the Congressional Budget Office confirmed that the Republican plan to slash Medicaid would kick 2.4 million people off their health insurance by 2034. The American people deserve better.
That's why I'm always excited to see the U.S. Conference of Mayors when they're in Washington. I'll always stand with our nation’s mayors to increase affordable housing, combat the harmful tariffs hurting our small businesses, and promote fair taxes so that middle class families can thrive.
Before coming to Congress, I worked in the White House as a liaison to local officials where I learned firsthand the importance of federal-local partnerships.
With hate incidents on the rise, I am leading this year’s Nonprofit Security Grant Program appropriations letter alongside Rep McCaul to help at-risk, faith-based institutions upgrade their security.
Actions speak louder than words. To my House GOP colleagues: 🖊️ SIGN @congressmanboyle.bsky.social’s discharge petition 🛑 STOP these devastating cuts to give tax breaks to billionaires ✋ and keep your HANDS OFF Medicaid and SNAP
Federal employees at NOAA, NIH, USAID, and other agencies keep Americans safe — they deserve to do their jobs without fear of being attacked by Trump, Elon, and DOGE. Proud to join some of them on the steps of the U.S. Capitol to reaffirm my support for their dedicated service.
🪏 Breaking ground on the “Missing Move” and Quonset Ramps Construction Project to make traveling through I-95 and Route 4 easier for Ocean State residents, businesses, and visitors alike! When we invest in RI’s infrastructure, we grow our economy and increase the quality of life for all RIers. 🛣️
As our federal delegation works to protect critical services from Trump’s funding cuts, data from the Factbook helps paint the picture of the our work to ensure every child in our state can thrive.
