I signed onto @pressley.house.gov's discharge petition to force a vote on redesignating TPS for Haiti because Donald Trump and Stephen Miller's attacks on Haitian immigrants are purely driven by xenophobia and bigotry, not security concerns.
I look forward to voting yes.

Today we celebrate the bravery & resilience of the trans community in the face of relentless attacks by anti-equality extremists who seek to erase & control trans voices & stories.
Our members will always fight for our trans siblings’ right to exist openly & authentically. #TransDayOfVisibility
If Trump wanted to address the energy crisis he created, he could end the war, abandon his ideological obsession with fossil fuels, and embrace the diversity of American energy sources.
Instead, he’s giving his oil and gas friends a free pass to pollute and kill endangered whales in the gulf.

Energy markets have been rocked by the outbreak of war in the Persian Gulf, where roughly one-fifth of the world’s oil supply originates.

US gas hits $4 per gallon for first time since 2022, with average prices now higher than at any point during Trump's two terms. Follow live updates: https://cnn.it/4ch54v6
This tells you everything about this Administration's priorities. While preparing to send our troops into harm’s way in a half-baked war, Hegseth was working on getting a piece of the pie. Disgusting.
I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: Pete Hegseth must resign or be fired immediately.
Donald Trump is refusing to negotiate a deal to end the DHS shutdown, end the chaos at airports across country, and pay our public servants.
The American people deserve a president who will do the job of governing, not an erratic ballroom designer.

After enacting the largest Medicaid cuts in history and allowing health care tax credits to expire so they can pay for tax cuts for the rich, Republicans now want to make further cuts to health care to pay for Trump’s illegal war of choice in Iran. Shameful.
I'll be voting NO.
Trump promised he would lower costs on Day 1, but the cost of groceries has only gotten more expensive for Americans since he’s been in office.

As we've said all along, Trump’s aluminum tariffs are a counterproductive failure. These tariffs are only raising costs on manufacturers that rely on aluminum, while domestic production has actually declined.

No Kings! Not now, not ever.

In Northern Virginia and across the country, Americans are exercising their constitutional rights to stand for democracy.
No Kings!
It is not too late to do the right thing. Speaker Johnson can still bring the Senate-passed bill to the floor, reopen the law-abiding entities of DHS, and ensure that public servants are paid. He should.

Congress shouldn't approve additional funding for operations that include masked agents breaking into homes and vehicles without judicial warrants. Americans shouldn't tolerate lawless brutality from a federal agency, and ICE shouldn't receive additional funding until these abuses are addressed.
6/
They brought forward legislation that prioritizes additional funding for ICE without any meaningful safeguards to address the disturbing pattern of aggressive enforcement tactics that has terrorized communities and resulted in the tragic death of Renee Good and Alex Pretti.
5/
House Republican leadership chose instead to extend the DHS shutdown by advancing legislation that has no viable path to passage in the Senate.
4/
Had they done so, the law-abiding agencies under DHS would be funded, the dedicated public servants who keep our country running – including TSA agents, Coast Guard members, and FEMA personnel – would be paid, and the air travel delays afflicting Americans across the country would be resolved.
3/
House Republicans had the opportunity to bring a bipartisan, Senate-passed funding bill to the floor and end this unnecessary shutdown.

House Republican leadership chose instead to extend the DHS shutdown.
But it's not too late to do the right thing. Speaker Johnson can still bring the Senate-passed bill to the floor, reopen the law-abiding entities of DHS, and ensure that public servants are paid. He should.

Today, I'm introducing my wealth tax — and more than 50 members of Congress are joining me.
It’s time for the government to start working for American families, not just the ultra-rich.
