Rapid data center construction to meet power demands from AI platforms is driving electricity prices up sharply, while Republicans' big bill slows the construction of energy projects. Our bill would generate policy changes to lower costs for the American people.

Americans are seeing higher energy bills because of AI data centers.
Our bill with Representative Don Beyer will protect families and small businesses from these rising costs.
Trump's tariffs are raising prices for the American people.
They're also crushing American farmers.
Now Trump's trying to keep farmers happy with a bailout of billions of dollars in taxpayer money.
Republicans could stop this and end Trump's trade wars, but they're afraid to.
Medicaid cuts from Republicans' Big Ugly bill already threatened the closure of hundreds rural hospitals. And now, the increased costs of Trump’s H-1B visa restrictions are putting even more pressure on already understaffed rural health care facilities.

ACA tax credits expire in 23 days.
All House Democrats have signed our discharge petition to protect health care and lower costs.
We just need 4 Republicans to join us.
Hepatitis B vaccination has been recommended for all newborns since 1991. It led to a 99% reduction in pediatric infections and liver diseases caused by the virus have dropped dramatically.
This is a terrible decision. Babies could develop liver infection or die as a result.
ACA tax credits expire at the end of the month, and Republicans still have no plan – but Democrats do.
Our discharge petition would force a vote to stop health care costs from skyrocketing for millions of Americans.
We just need a few Republicans to get this done.

When Trump fails to fund science and attacks the civil servants who drive discovery and innovation – our brightest minds leave for better opportunities. That means medical cures and breakthrough technologies might never be discovered.
Trump's brain drain hurts us all.

Apparently the Trump Administration thinks the trillions they spent on tax cuts for the wealthy wasn't enough. Now they're planning another huge tax windfall for the biggest corporations in the country.
@warren.senate.gov and I are leading the charge against this.

Racism should never be a barrier to lawful immigration or naturalization, but that’s what the Trump Administration is doing.
People who followed every rule to earn citizenship are seeing it ripped away simply because they are not white.
It's just wrong.
www.cbsnews.com/news/trump-a...
Welcoming new Americans taking the oath after the arduous process of seeking citizenship is one of my favorite things. It's a wonderful experience that helps you see why people have looked to America with hope for over two centuries, and reminds you what makes our country great.
The Inspector General report found that Hegseth put our troops at risk.
He thinks it “exonerates” him and makes him look good.
This man’s failure and stupidity puts Americans at risk and he would never have gotten near a job this important in any competent administration.
This is just racism, and Trump's racist language is being coupled with racist policy to block people including many vetted under this administration who pursued legal status and citizenship the way they were supposed to, just because they aren't white. It's awful and immoral.
Trump unleashes xenophobic tirade against Somalis, branding them "garbage" in an outburst that was shocking in its unapologetic bigotry even for a president known for his history of insulting Black people, write Zolan Kanno-Youngs and @shawnmccreesh.bsky.social www.nytimes.com/2025/12/02/u...
Hegseth's recklessness put our troops at risk.
His orders led to what were likely war crimes.
He was never qualified.
He set an atrocious example for the world's most powerful military.
Most people who failed this badly at their jobs would be fired. He should be fired too.

BREAKING: All House Democrats have signed our discharge petition to extend the ACA tax credits.
That makes 214.
We can protect health care and lower costs — if only 4 Republicans will join us.

Yet again, Trump and Rollins are illegally threatening to withhold federal dollars. SNAP has one of the lowest fraud rates of any government program, but Trump continues to weaponize hunger.
This man just went free thanks to President Trump:

Trump used drugs as pretext for illegal killings in the Caribbean, and as pretext for illegal, inflation-spiking tariffs.
But he just pardoned a man who "flooded America with cocaine" and boasted that he'd “stuff the drugs up the gringos’ noses.”
Trump's corruption is endless.
