They are just fantastic this young band but the last song the blue song is killer. No wonder they want on Mother’s Day. There are a lot of very cool mothers in that band.
Justice David Souter was a Republican appointee, but he upheld the Constitution—not the party line. He stood for fairness, legal principle, and modesty. I was privileged to meet him when I was a state senator—he was thoughtful and warm, the model of what a Justice should be, on and off the bench.
🚨NEW: Trump is trying to kill a housing program that protects seniors, lowers energy bills & saves lives. This used to be bipartisan, so why is he doing it? Because it helps people who aren’t rich—and it has "Green" in its name. My op-ed in @fastcompany.com with @michaeljohnshank.bsky.social ⬇️
As the first American pope—and one from Chicago, my mother’s hometown—I'm pleased to welcome Pope Leo XIV. Cardinal Stritch was also from Chicago, and he helped bring St. Jude to Memphis. I hope Pope Leo builds on Francis' legacy of compassion and that he visits St. Jude & Memphis—where it endures.
Republicans want to gut Medicaid and slash food aid by $1 TRILLION, hurting kids, seniors, the disabled, and working families. They say that’s not true? Great—then they should vote for the Hands Off Medicaid and SNAP Act. I signed the petition to force that vote. Let's see who's telling the truth.

Republicans just paved the way for the largest cut to America's social safety net in history—billions stolen from SNAP & Medicaid, from children, the disabled, and seniors. All to make the rich even richer. It's theft in broad daylight. I voted NO. Full remarks from the House floor last night ⬇️

Retrofitting housing couldn’t be more American. It’s good for businesses contracted to do the upgrades, and it’s good for all living healthier lives, saving money on their utility bills, and staying safe in the next storm. @fastcompany.com @repcohen.bsky.social www.fastcompany.com/91329913/thi...
Trump's trade war is crushing small retailers, restaurants, breweries & more—and all the jobs they provide. The GOP's billionaire donors might have the resources to adapt to knee-jerk tariff policy, but small businesses on Main Street don't. They deserve real support, that's what we're demanding ⬇️
Proud to lead this resolution with @whitehouse.senate.gov and @repmcgovern.bsky.social. The attack on the free press is happening right now. Every Member of Congress needs to show where they stand and support this effort to defend the First Amendment.
Trump’s attacks on NPR, PBS & independent journalists are threats, meant to punish truth-tellers and scare anyone who might oppose him. I introduced a resolution to condemn his war on the free press. The 1st Amendment includes press freedom—and we’ll fight any effort that threatens it.

The cost of living is too high, and Trump and Republicans want to make it worse by taxing everyday essentials and cutting the services Americans rely on. House Democrats will keep fighting to protect working families. @ross.house.gov explains more on today's Democratic Daily Download.

Trump doesn't understand his job—which is to protect, preserve, and defend the Constitution. He wants a $90M birthday party with tanks & jets to feed his ego. But he’s not Genghis Khan or Napoleon, he's the President—and he owes a duty to us, the people, and the Constitution.
