Not only do congressional Republicans not want to release the Epstein files - they closed Congress to dodge voting on the issue.
Republicans sure are pulling out all the stops to wield the government against Texas Democrats. Warrants, FBI, court processes. Not a second wasted. Goes to show that if they *wanted* to bring Epstein's clients to justice, they could. They just don't want to.
Our veterans have proudly served our nation and defended our freedom. This union-busting by the Trump administration is a direct attack on workers’ rights and will make it harder for veterans to receive the benefits and care they have earned.
Under Trump & congressional Republicans' new budget law, more than 300,000 Pennsylvanians will lose their health care coverage. If you get coverage through Geisinger Health Plan, Keystone First, or another state-funded managed care organization, these cuts could impact you.
On the 60th anniversary of the Voting Rights Act, this fundamental right is under attack by extreme gerrymandering like in Texas, voter suppression, and election subversion. It’s far past time we pass the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act, to protect the right to vote for ALL.
Have YOUR drug prices come down – or gone up? Trump is claiming he got drug companies to cut prices by 1,500% - which would mean the companies would be paying YOU to take their medicines. Is this the same “math” determining his illegal, chaotic tariff scheme?
HIGHER prescription-drug prices for you, while billionaires get another tax cut – that’s why I voted NO on the new Republican budget law & why I’m co-sponsoring @replindasanchez.bsky.social’s bill to #TakeHisKeys & return tariff authority to Congress, where the Constitution says it belongs.
Trump: "We'll be putting an initially small tariffs on pharmaceuticals. But in one year, one in a half years maximum, it's gonna go to 150% and then it's gonna go to 250%, because we want pharmaceuticals made in our country."
New: Ghislaine Maxwell was technically ineligible to be transferred from to a minimum-security federal prison camp-- and the Bureau of Prisons had to waive a rule to facilitate the move, according to public records and a federal prison expert. With @lawofruby.bsky.social
The American people didn’t ask for this. Hiring has stalled, prices are surging, and this administration is actively undermining the labor market Democrats rebuilt. This goes beyond failed Republican leadership, it's actively making life harder for people.
NEW: The labor market is worse than previously thought, with the latest data showing the U.S. created about 106,000 total jobs in the past three months, the weakest pace of growth since the onset of the 2020 pandemic.
NEW FOIA Files SCOOP: The FBI redacted Trump’s name—and the names of other prominent public figures—from the Epstein files under two privacy exemptions before DOJ & FBI concluded “no further disclosure” of the files “would be appropriate or warranted.” www.bloomberg.com/news/newslet...
