LGBTQI+ kids are at higher risk for depression, anxiety, homelessness, and suicide. Tony's Place in #TX07 provides a welcoming, accepting space where teenagers can access services and support, and I was glad to visit with Tony's Place today. 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️
Today is the last day of Pride Month. I was glad to be able to be home to visit a few places in #TX07 that are pillars of our LGBTQ+ community, starting with the Montrose Center, which has provided critical resources, empowerment, and support for Houston's LGBTQI+ community for almost 50 years.
