The cost of living is already too damn high, and Republicans are making it worse by allowing health care premiums to increase for working families.
But no expenses will be spared for the best private jets money can buy for Kristi Noem!

Donald Trump and JD Vance were so threatened by the No Kings protests on Saturday that they put American lives at risk just to stage a vanity missile show.
Thank you, @governor.ca.gov, for doing the right thing by closing part of I-5 and keeping people safe.
Proud to stand with Angelenos against Trump’s authoritarianism at No Kings in DTLA this weekend.
No Kings. No fascism. No bullsh*t.
Wishing a happy Diwali to all those observing in LA and across the world!
May the Festival of Lights bring love and prosperity to you and your loved ones.
As Ranking Member of the South & Central Asia Subcommittee, I sent a letter w/ Rep. Huizenga urging Trump to convene a Leaders' Summmit with the Central Asian countries on the 10th anniversary of the C5+1 forum & secure commitments that strengthen the US-Central Asia relationship.
Trump is trying to steal the paychecks of thousands of furloughed federal workers by violating a law he himself signed in 2019.
Ironic. Cruel. Illegal.
We're going to fight like hell to ensure every federal worker receives their back pay.
Trump's ICE raids have upended our community. I'm grateful to our county's leadership for working to help ease the economic burden these raids have imposed on Angelenos.
Their goal is to tear our communities apart. We won't let them win.
As Trump pushes Republican states to rig their congressional maps, the Supreme Court is hearing a case that could allow them to gerrymander further by diluting the voting power of Black & brown voters.
We must protect the Voting Rights Act and our democracy.
To Angelenos attending a No Kings rally today: stay safe. Stay peaceful.
Together, let’s set the record straight—we’re not violent or hateful. We’re united against a wannabe king and his corrupt administration.
🚨 Angelenos: If you want to participate in the November 4, 2025 statewide special election, your deadline to register to vote is Monday.

Wondering what this shutdown fight is about?
Right now, Californians shopping for health insurance on CoveredCA.com are seeing their premiums skyrocket—some even double.
Democrats are fighting to stop these hikes & protect access to care. Republicans are on vacation.
After my amendment calling on Trump to attend the Quad Leaders' Summit in India passed the House Foreign Affairs Committee, I'm doubling down on the importance of his & U.S. presence at the Quad Summit, East Asia Summit & APEC Summit.
To maintain our alliances & global leadership, we must show up.
These weren't "kids," they were adult Republican staffers & a state senator. And the chats weren't "jokes," they were vile hatred & bigotry.
If Vance refuses to call them out or can't even pretend to condemn this language, then there's a serious leadership problem within the GOP.
To my @housedemocrats.bsky.social colleagues looking for Republicans in the Capitol during the Trump Shutdown... they're here.
You just have to know where to look 😉😉
Glad to see women journalists in India speaking truth to power & standing up for their right to equal participation—rights the Taliban has stripped from Afghan women.
We can't be silent—the US must continue to raise the erasure of Afghan women in any engagement with the Taliban.
As Hispanic Heritage Month ends, my team and I honored the Hispanic labor and music leaders that keep our city vibrant.
Shoutout to @seiu2015.bsky.social and Councilmember Price for hosting such wonderful celebrations!
Some good news: @governor.ca.gov signed a bill to raise wages for the incarcerated firefighters who saved LA this winter.
But this isn't just a CA issue—at least 13 states employ incarcerated firefighters. Let's pass my bill, the FIRE Act, to ensure fair labor standards nationwide!

"We don't trust these fools”: @kamlager-dove.house.gov joins The Weeknight as the government shutdown enters its second week and Washington remains deadlocked with no resolution in sight.
Tune in… and if you happen to be a House Republican, please come back to work.
