My colleagues and I are standing firm against these Republican tariffs that hurt hardworking American families.

The Administration must provide immediate answers and take swift action to reinstate the dedicated staff working to protect American families.

The removal of the entire LIHEAP team at HHS is deeply alarming. This program delivers essential energy assistance to our most vulnerable communities, helping millions stay safe during extreme weather.
My constituents want to use payment stablecoins, as do our allies in developing nations on the continent of Africa and around the world. We must establish clear, high regulatory standards for stablecoin issuers. This is why I support the STABLE Act.

Keep fighting the good fight my brother Senator Cory Booker! www.youtube.com/shorts/N8keO...
Trump’s latest EO attacking the Smithsonian is an obvious attempt to rewrite our history. Trump is targeting several museums, including the National Museum of African American History and Culture to further divide us.
Never forget: Black history is American history.

On today’s Democratic Daily Download, @meeks.house.gov explains why the Signal chat was a threat to our national security, why Hegseth must resign and how Dems are forcing a vote to compel the Trump Administration into releasing all details surrounding the disclosure of classified info.
Cutting the jobs of 10,000 U.S. Dept. of HHS employees isn't efficient- it's irresponsible. These layoffs spell out an vast deduction in HHS personnel, closures of regional offices, and consolidations of important divisions. This reckless disregard for public health puts Americans at risk.
Pete Hegseth proved what we all already knew - he isn't qualified for this job. If any other officer texted war plans on a messaging app, they'd be fired. And now, Trump officials are lying to Congress to cover up their incompetence.
When are they going to do the right thing?
My statement on the Republican attack on U.S. Department of Education.

We concluded Medicaid Day of Action with a press conference. In #NY05, 312,918 people on Medicaid are at risk of losing their health care. We won’t back down — we will continue to fight for the care Americans deserve!
Rep. Meng and I visited Queens Hospital Center to highlight how the Republican scam to cut Medicaid will affect everyday Americans who rely on its coverage to survive. After the hospital tour, it's clear that a cut to Medicaid would have a devastating impact on our Queens community.
I joined USPS to honor Constance Baker Motley with her own stamp. She was the first African American woman appointed to the federal judiciary, elected to the NY State Senate & the first woman to serve as the Manhattan Borough President. The stamp honors her lifelong commitment to the justice system.
Instead of focusing on solutions to improve life for the Americans, Republicans are bowing down to their 'king,' Donald Trump, allowing him to dictate their every move. We must stay focused on the issues affecting communities, like the rising cost of groceries & cut to Medicaid. youtu.be/HgtAy8Oo5WE
Rep. Lowey will be greatly missed, but her impact has shaped generations. My condolences to her loved ones at this time.
Someone I could always have a conversation with and discuss ways to bring vital resources back to NYC and the 5th Congressional District. She broke barriers by being the first woman to chair the House Appropriations Committee. I will always remember her as a person who brought people together.
It is with great sadness that I recognize the passing of former New York Congresswoman Nita Lowey. She was a dedicated civil servant working diligently for the benefit of the community and country. She was my dear friend.
The Republicans spending bill is a blatant attack on Americans by cutting funding for vital services like Medicaid and Social Security. Democrats remain committed to making life better for the American people. We will continue fighting Republican chaos plaguing the halls of Congress.
My condolences to his loved ones during this difficult time.
He devoted his life advocating for policy that enhanced the lives of his constituents in Arizona’s 7th District and the nation. My condolences to his loved ones during this difficult time.
