On Monday, Rep. Stauber introduced another attempt to overturn protections for the BWCA from toxic acid mine drainage. Yesterday, I met with experts to discuss how we can defeat this resolution and protect an American treasure from Trump's foreign mining friends.
Renee Good, her family, and our state deserve justice through an impartial investigation free from interference from Trump.
It is alarming to learn that honorable career professionals in the Minnesota U.S. Attorney’s Office have been pressured by the Trump administration to malign the family of Renee Good after she was killed by an ICE agent.
Minnesotans are under assault by the Trump administration.
We will remain united. We will remain peaceful. And we will never back down.
Know your rights! As President Trump deploys thousands of ICE and DHS agents to racially profile our neighbors, you have the right to speak out, blow whistles, and record video. If questioned, you have the right to remain silent and to speak to an attorney.
DHS and ICE's cruelty and incompetence have no end. This past weekend, four members of the Oglala Sioux Tribe were detained by ICE in Minneapolis. Tribal Attorneys are still attempting to locate the men. I demand that they be released immediately.
Minnesota stands as one against President Trump’s illegal ICE and DHS actions across our state and around the country.
Trump is creating chaos, crisis, and confusion. We are united in defending our state through unity and nonviolent action.
The Trump administration cares more about the profits of corporations and billionaires who pollute our air than the health of Americans. Trump’s decision to gut EPA’s clean air protections directly counters its own mission.

With increased federal immigration enforcement activity in the Twin Cities, it’s important to know your rights. If immigration agents come to your home, take steps to protect yourself and your family. Learn what to do and find trusted local resources at: stpaul.gov/immigration-resources
I stand with Attorney General Ellison, Mayor Kaohly Her, and Mayor Jacob Frey, who are defending Minnesotans from President Trump's federal invasion of our state by suing the Department of Homeland Security to end DHS and ICE's illegal operations in our state.
President Trump’s partisan attacks on the Federal Reserve Board’s independence are dangerous and will only further disrupt America’s economy.

Congress has every right to hold the Trump administration accountable for conditions of ICE detention centers. DHS violated the law today by refusing to allow members to conduct their oversight duties. www.startribune.com/rep-omar-cra...

Secretary Noem should be fired. If she is not, I support impeachment by the House and conviction by the Senate for her obstruction of Congress and violation of the public trust.
The appalling conduct at ICE and DHS starts with its leadership. Kristi Noem needs to go.
Last night, House Democrats were joined by 17 Republicans in a vote to restore ACA tax credits to help millions of Americans afford health care. The fight isn’t over — Senate Republicans need to stop the political games and act right away.
As our country’s most visited wilderness area, the Boundary Waters Canoe Area is a national treasure that protects over a million acres of pristine forest and clean freshwater. I'll keep fighting against all Republican efforts to overturn protections for the BWCA headwaters.
President Trump’s deployment of 2,000 ICE agents has brought chaos to Minnesota. I’m grateful to @governorwalz.mn.gov for authorizing the MN National Guard to provide local law enforcement with the support they need to carry out their duties, protect our communities, and maintain the peace.
Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz has authorized the state's National Guard to help support local law enforcement as tensions have risen in Minneapolis after an ICE agent fatally shot a woman. https://cnn.it/3N9KXoN
