We remember the victims and honor the heroism of Officer Aaron Salter Jr., the security guard on duty that day who gave his life protecting others.
Four years ago today, a white supremacist, armed with a weapon of war and wearing enhanced body armor, killed 10 people and injured 3 others in a targeted attack on a predominantly Black community in Buffalo.

I joined Council Member Shekar Krishnan and community leaders today calling for the MTA to reopen the LIRR station in Elmhurst.
