As the author of the law that created the 988 Lifeline, Rep. Moulton is demanding the Trump Administration restore specialized LGBTQ+ crisis services. Congress appropriated $33M for these life-saving services. It’s time for RFK Jr. to follow the law and restore the "Press 3" option.
Shocker: Trump's tariffs are still illegal. Whether it be through his illegal tariffs or his inability to end the war he started in Iran, Trump continues to increase prices for Americans.
Just in: The Court of International Trade has struck down a second round of global tariffs ordered by President Trump, after his earlier import taxes were outlawed by the U.S. Supreme Court. The decision is a victory for importers and a setback for the administration.
If you really wanted to celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week, you wouldn't be gutting higher education access for teachers. Instead of posting memes, go work on lowering student debt for the educators who dedicated their lives to teaching.
Terrible tragedy this morning on Rte 1: Kevin Trainor, a Massachusetts State Trooper, died in the line of duty in Lynnfield. This is a reminder of the risks so many members of law enforcement take every day. We’re all thinking of their family and loved ones today. -SWM
Today, Rep. Moulton and @crow.house.gov are introducing a War Powers Resolution to end the war in Iran and hold the Trump Administration accountable to Congress. We will not stand idly by while Republicans in Congress ignore their constitutional duty.
Tomorrow, the Supreme Court hears cases on TPS for Haiti and Syria. Rep. Moulton joined an amicus brief supporting TPS recipients because deporting people back to violence, instability, and humanitarian crisis is wrong.
Rep. Moulton is excited to announce $3.1 million in FEMA funding to elevate Jefferys Neck Road in Ipswich! This project will prevent flooding and ensure residents in Great Neck and Little Neck stay connected to emergency services during major storms. Read more: moulton.house.gov/news/press-r...
Earlier this month, Rep. Moulton wrote to Chairman Selig informing him of the Congressman's belief that the CFTC *can* target lawbreakers on Polymarket's offshore exchange. While Chairman Selig did not reply, we're glad to see him acting upon Rep. Moulton's feedback.
The CFTC has the authority to stop the illegal war betting markets on offshore platforms like Polymarket, and yet they are doing nothing to enforce the law. Rep. Moulton and @repmcgovern.bsky.social are demanding answers.
Congressman Moulton welcomed one of our Congressional App Challenge winners, Kwezi Besiimire, to DC this week to represent his four-person team at the #HouseOfCode. Congrats to Kwezi and his entire team on their accomplishment!
Donald Trump wants to spend ~$500 million in taxpayer money to bail out an airline that is on the brink of collapse in large part due to rising fuel costs from the war that Trump himself began. You can't make this up. www.wsj.com/business/air...
Happy Earth Day! Today is not only a chance to celebrate our planet, but a reminder to protect it too. Scenes like these ones from our district are only possible if we work to protect our planet, not ruin it.
Today, Rep. Moulton will vote Yes on legislation from @pressley.house.gov to extend TPS for Haiti. Voting Yes ensures that our neighbors and caregivers who contribute so much to our communities will not be deported back to dangerous conditions.
On One Boston Day, we honor those we lost in the Boston Marathon bombing 13 years ago to this day and hold close the thousands whose lives were forever changed. Today, as always, we are #BostonStrong.
Food insecurity in Massachusetts is on the rise. Last year, 1.12 million households didn’t have reliable access to food. Rep. Moulton is fighting for funding that will protect WIC, school meals, and food assistance programs.
