DOJ places on leave 2 prosecutors who said 'mob of rioters' carried out Jan. 6 attack

Donald Trump's Department of Justice is too busy protecting Jan. 6th rioters to stand up for equal justice for the American people. We're less safe because of Trump's pardons for these violent criminals; now we're seeing the consequences of repeat offenders.

Two federal prosecutors have been told they will be put on leave after filing a brief that described the Jan. 6, 2021, attackers a "mob of rioters," sources say.

It truly seems that cruelty is the point with the Trump administration.

When people have healthcare challenges, they're already going through all kinds of physical, emotional, and mental challenges. Taking away their coverage, as Republicans are trying to do, is simply cruel. They continually fail to propose a funding plan that helps American families.

The Trump administration is threatening to withhold roughly $6 billion in reserve funding for SNAP. This money is meant to feed vulnerable Americans. I'm calling on the administration to fulfill its responsibility to help families put food on the table.
