After years of preparation, I was honored to be part of the ribbon cutting for the new @ussoccer.com National Training Center here in our district!
With enthusiasm for soccer at an all time high, I could not be more proud to have this here in our backyard. (Photo: AJC)

Over the weekend, Rodney Taylor was released from ICE custody and is reunited with his family.
We know that the despicable and inhumane treatment of detainees in these facilities continues, and more families are suffering the same pain that Rodney’s family has endured. Our advocacy will continue.
Every American has the right to have their voice heard at the ballot box.
No matter where you live and no matter your race, color, or creed—your vote matters.
The Supreme Court just ruled against a key part of the Voting Rights Act that protects Black voters across our country.
The way it impacts our elections and our Congressional maps will become clear over the coming months, but this is a bad sign.
DOJ reforms should improve accountability in federal monitorships, not add waste and delays. This bill raises costs and slows progress without improving public service or outcomes.

I had the pleasure of meeting one of GA06’s Congressional App Challenge Winner, Utshaho Gupta, who developed the “Affordable Smart Glasses for Blind and Visually Impaired People”.
Congratulations to all of our winners. Keep learning, innovating, and reaching even greater heights!
He served the people of Georgia with compassion and with honor. Alfredia and the entire Scott family are in my prayers. May he rest in peace.
I am heartbroken to hear of the passing of my dear colleague and friend, Rep. David Scott.
For over 20 years, David was a tireless champion for America's farmers on the House Agriculture Committee, fighting every day to protect their livelihoods and strengthen rural communities.

Since coming to Congress, I've led legislation to improve health outcomes. Read more about the 2026 "Momnibus" and our Extending WIC for New Moms Act.

This Black Maternal Health Week, we continue to raise awareness of the crisis facing mothers and babies. In Georgia, women of color are still far more likely to die from pregnancy-related causes. We must keep improving access to care and accountability that protects every family.
Secretary RFK Jr. has spent more time regulating fluoride than addressing the gun violence epidemic. Guns are the leading cause of death for our kids and certainly pose more of a threat than fluoride. The American people deserve better from their leaders.
This bill helps states create and maintain public credential registries, connecting people to good-paying jobs and opportunities. Read more about the bill here: mcbath.house.gov/2026/4/repre...
Our workforce system has become increasingly difficult to navigate for both students and families. Americans deserve clear pathways to the skills they need to succeed. That’s why I am proud to introduce the bipartisan CREATES Act.

Attention all GA06 high school students: don't miss the chance to participate in my 2026 Congressional Art Competition! Winning artwork will be displayed in the U.S. Capitol and my Washington and Atlanta offices.
On Yom HaShoah, we honor the memories of those who lost their lives during the horrors of the Holocaust. We stand with the survivors and their families, and recommit ourselves to confronting antisemitism and hatred in all its forms. May we never forget.
