A blanket ban on state AI laws would stop New Jersey from advancing responsible AI regulation and derail the common-sense guardrails we’re already leading on.
Proud to join my colleagues on legislation that would prohibit Trump's already announced AI executive order from taking effect.

This goes against ICE's own mandate that agents are not permitted to leave minors alone after arresting their parents or guardians.
These stories and so many others that I’ve heard firsthand are why I will continue fighting to protect our communities and to do everything to end ICE.
If you don’t believe ICE needs to be abolished then read this story:
A New Jersey father was pulled over, handcuffed, and detained by ICE while driving his 13-year-old daughter and 15-year-old son to school.
The ICE agents then left the kids abandoned in their car on the side of the road.
16 years ago, the ACA was signed into law to expand access to affordable healthcare.
Today, House Democrats are fighting to keep your monthly healthcare bills low and stop Republicans from trying to raise your costs.
Thank you to the first responders who have been working throughout the night. As we learn more about the crash, we must do everything we can to ensure this doesn’t happen again.
Devastating to hear of the crash at LGA last night. My thoughts are with the victims, their families, the PANYNJ firefighters injured last night, and everyone impacted by this tragedy.
📍Annual St. Patrick's Day Parade in Bayonne
🇮🇪 It's always great celebrating the rich culture and roots of our Irish communities here in Bayonne and beyond. Thankful to spend today with so many friends and neighbors. 🫶
Instead of paying TSA agents, Trump is sending his overpaid, undertrained paramilitary to our airports. This is dangerous & completely unnecessary.
Democrats have tried for weeks to fully fund TSA. It’s long past time for Republicans to stop fueling the Trump chaos machine & do the right thing.
Extending CoreCivic’s contract runs counter to everything our state stands for.
We will continue fighting to ban private detention centers in New Jersey just as we've done since coming to Congress. The fight continues.
📍Great to be with the Greater Elizabeth Chamber of Commerce's Employer Legislative Committee this morning! Thanks for having me!
Now? Nearly a TENTH of Americans enrolled in ACA plans have dropped their insurance after costs rose last year.
House Democrats remain ready to protect affordable care & put our communities first.
It's been months & Trump & Congressional Republicans still haven’t unveiled their "healthcare plan.”
Why? Because there isn't one.
Trump’s friends using ICE to deport their exes is further proof that (i) these people are all sick, (ii) ICE needs to be abolished and (iii) never date or marry MAGA.

Grateful to have Jill Katz and friends in DC leading a CPR training session.
After the loss of their daughter, Sarah Katz, Sarah’s parents have turned their grief into advocacy - working to prevent future tragedies by promoting CPR education and empowering others to save lives.
I’m grateful that New Jersey is taking legal action to stop ICE’s Roxbury warehouse plan.
I’ve been fighting to stop ICE from tearing families apart since my first day in Congress and I’m not stopping now. Add your voice to the fight here: menendez.house.gov/stop-ices-nj...
Wishing everyone celebrating a joyous Eid al-Fitr!
We hope this day brings happiness, peace, and time spent with family and loved ones.
Eid Mubarak!
Five-year-old Liam Ramos is the real face of the people being taken from our communities.
Our fight continues until this national nightmare ends and Liam - and children like him - are able to stay in the only country they’ve ever known.
