2/ I was grateful to join @coons.senate.gov as well as university and NIIMBL leadership today to unveil a National Security Commission on Emerging Biotechnology's report that emphasizes the growing need to invest in biotechnology and spaces like NIIMBL.

9/ I’m proud of all that we’ve accomplished in just 100 days—but more than anything, I am focused on delivering real results for our neighbors while reining in the worst excesses of the Trump Administration.
8/ I’ve taken on the Trump administration’s attacks on Delaware—from demanding they restore federal funding for the Delaware Manufacturing Extension Partnership, to voting against Medicaid cuts that would impact services for nearly 1 in 4 Delawareans.
7/ When the House is out of session, I travel up and down our state to meet with Delawareans, businesses, non-profits, community organizations, and more. From Newark and Dover to Magnolia and Seaford and beyond, it’s my duty to ensure every voice in our state of neighbors is heard in Washington.

6/ Our Constituent Advocacy team has been hard at work ensuring that Delawareans get answers to their issues involving federal agencies. Thanks to their efforts, we’ve helped return more than $360,000 in backlogged benefits to almost 300 Delawareans!

5/ I’ve proudly co-sponsored over 120 bills—including 75 bipartisan bills—to protect working families, strengthen workers’ rights, and defend the vital programs that hundreds of thousands of Delawareans depend on, like Social Security and Medicaid.

75 bipartisan bills
24 bills led by Republicans
Bills to protect working families, union workers, public health, teachers, childcare, library services
Bills to defend Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid
4/ My second bipartisan bill, the SAVE Our Poultry Act, supports farmers whose flocks and livelihoods have been threatened by the avian flu. It responds to Delaware farmers' needs, like Mike Puglisi, who shared with me his concerns about this disease during my visit to his family farm in Middletown.
2/ From restoring funding for manufacturing to standing up for seniors and caregivers, I’ve been focused on building a government that works for the people of Delaware. Here’s how our team has been delivering results for the greatest state in the Union ⤵️
We in Delaware know that Medicaid isn't just a line number—it's a lifeline. I've heard from many of our neighbors about how life-threatening losing access to Medicaid would be for them. It's why I'll continue to push back against the Trump administration's efforts to gut the vital program. (2/2)

I was proud to meet with members of LiUNA in my office recently, including a member from Delaware! I’m focused on protecting and expanding strong union jobs in Delaware, and that means always standing up to protect workers' rights.
