I'm calling for ICE to be dismantled because we need to start over from the ground-up. We need a new organization committed to the original mission of immigration enforcement.

In the face of this administration's endless abuses, we do need to scrap ICE as an agency—this is no longer the time for reforms. But we still need humane, common-sense immigration enforcement.
Last month, I called for Congress to dismantle ICE. Some of my friends want to abolish it—I'm calling for something else.
