Let’s tell it like it is: RFK Jr. is a moron.

I’m proud to be one of the first members of Congress to call for his removal back in June, and I’m going to keep doing that until he’s gone. We need a Health Secretary who operates on facts, not fiction.
I just signed a bipartisan discharge petition to force the Trump administration to release the #Epstein files. The public deserves to know the truth.
Congratulations to Representative Jerry Nadler on his retirement and long career in public service!    During his tenure in Congress, @nadler.house.gov has been an advocate for our cities and served as a leading voice against the first Trump administration.
Happy Labor Day!💪🏻💼🇺🇸 Today, we celebrate the work and achievements of laborers and unions throughout history — including weekends, overtime pay, and the end of child labor.
Enough is enough. The crisis in Gaza must end. I’m joining dozens of my Democratic colleagues in demanding Trump and Marco Rubio allow children in Gaza to get baby formula and medical visas. This aid is essential to their survival.
Earlier this week, I had an opportunity to tour the future site for the Illinois Quantum and Microelectronics Park (IQMP) on the South Side of Chicago. This innovative site will be the home of quantum technology research in Chicago and create jobs for our city⚛️💼
Our president is a whimp. How is Russia, or any country, supposed to take the United States seriously with him in office? @meidastouch.com @meiselasb.bsky.social
Quigley: Trump acts like a tough guy when it comes to going after some undocumented kid, but when he comes up against someone tougher than him, this president is a wimp.
I had the honor of joining Indivisible at their town hall last night. Things are tough right now, and people are asking “what can I do to help?” We have to get to work.
The Foundation's team shared updates on the new Obama Presidential Center — and how it will create 150 full-time jobs when it opens in Chicago next year. (2/2)
Really enjoyed this informational session by the @obamafoundation.bsky.social this week. Sometimes it seems like just yesterday President @barackobama.bsky.social took office, and I decided to start my first run for Congress. (1/2)
20 years after #HurricaneKatrina wreaked havoc through New Orleans, we continue to suffer through frequent extreme weather disasters from climate change. But Trump and his cronies are dismantling the agencies that provide critical support to help people prepare and respond to disasters.
This week, the Chicago Ukrainian community celebrated 34 years of Ukraine’s independence from Russia. We will not back down now. Slava Ukraini🇺🇦
Dr. Daskalakis, the Director of Immunization and Respiratory Diseases at the CDC, just resigned due to RFK Jr.’s rejection of science and politicization of HHS. Read more of his resignation letter here. (2/2)
“We are seven months into the new administration, and no CDC subject matter expert from my Center has ever briefed [RFK Jr.]. I am not sure who the Secretary is listening to, but it is quite certainly not to us. Unvetted and conflicted outside organizations seem to be the sources HHS use.” (1/2)
Enough is enough. The health of the country is in danger. Read our resignation letters: insidemedicine.substack.com/p/breaking-n...
Today marks the anniversary of the March on Washington. Please take a moment to remember the civil rights leaders and activists who made this march possible — including Martin Luther King Jr., John Lewis, and A. Philip Randolph. Let's continue their work towards a more just & prosperous America.
