DHS just finalized a rule demanding asylum seekers legally present in the United States to pay extra fees. This rule also threatens to throw out the cases of immigrants whose asylum applications have already been accepted by our country, if they do not quickly pay the fee.

Yesterday, I was proud to sign @raskin.house.gov’s discharge petition to stop Trump’s $1.776 Billion Slush Fund for J6ers and other political sycophants. This petition will force Speaker Johnson to allow us to vote on the No Carte Blanche Act and block the fund for good.
