These proposed Republican cuts are so unpopular, they had to postpone releasing their legislation this week. We're keeping up the drumbeat b/c every American, no matter their zip code, deserves access to affordable, life-saving care.
The Democratic Doctors in Congress & I say: hands off Medicaid.

🚨 Members of Congress have launched the bipartisan Public Lands Caucus to stop the public lands sell-off.
Public lands belong to the American people, not to polluting corporations.
Thank you @debbiedingell.house.gov @repraulruizmd.bsky.social and @repgabevasquez.bsky.social for your leadership! 👏

Happy National Pet Week from New Dems and their furry friends!
I’m going live with the Democratic Doctors Caucus in 5 minutes to call out Republican attempts to slash Medicaid funding by at least $880 billion.
🎥 Tune in live here: youtube.com/live/ZSRDiNq...
We heard directly from you about what matters most — and that’s exactly how we build an agenda that reflects the people and communities we serve.
The work doesn’t stop here. I’ll keep making sure your voice is heard in every room where decisions are made.
A powerful town hall in Rancho Mirage! Thank you to everyone who joined our @housedemocrats.bsky.social Steering & Policy Committee Town Hall with Leader @hakeem-jeffries.bsky.social, S&P Co-Chair @repbarragan.bsky.social, and @demwomencaucus.bsky.social Chair @fernandez.house.gov.

100 shit show days of chaos, division, and broken promises.
I will keep fighting every day for the people: for affordable health care, for our veterans, and for the working families Trump keeps leaving behind.
I’m excited to host a @housedemocrats.bsky.social Caucus Steering & Policy Committee Town Hall in #RanchoMirageCA on May 3 at 1PM!
I’ll be joined by Steering & Policy Co-Chair @repbarragan.bsky.social plus a special surprise guest you won’t want to miss!

I was proud to welcome students from Palm Springs Unified School District to our nation’s capital. Their insightful questions and passion for civic engagement inspire hope for our future. Investing in their education and leadership is investing in a stronger America.
My bill, the Protecting Outdoor Concerts Act, would change that, ensuring consistent safety measures across all event types, whether you’re cheering on your favorite sports team or seeing your favorite artist perform.
With #Coachella wrapped and #Stagecoach just around the corner, I joined local first responders to tour the festival grounds and assess safety measures.
Right now, only sporting events receive FAA airspace restrictions, but world-renowned festivals in our backyard deserve the same protections.
I’m deeply disappointed by the news of the Spreckels Sugar Facility’s planned closure in #BrawleyCA. Read my full statement here ⬇️
What an incredible town hall tour. This past week, I had the honor of meeting hundreds of you from across the district.
From #BeaumontCA to #IndioCA to #ElCentroCA, thank you for showing up with energy and heart. The work continues, and I’m proud to keep fighting for you in Congress.
Happy Easter, from my kin pack to yours!
Another great one in the books!
Thank you to everyone who showed up and spoke up in Indio for my second town hall! El Centro, you’re up next, can’t wait to see you.
One down, two more to go.
Thank you to the hundreds of people that turned out for my town hall in Beaumont. Next up, Indio and El Centro.
