Good to join the Brentwood Homeowners Association’s annual meeting last night, where I was pleased to present LAPD Chief Jim McDonnell with over $1 million in federal funding I secured to bolster West LA Real Time Crime fighting to help keep our communities safe.

The strategic petroleum reserve is authorized at 714 million barrels, but it’s only 58% full. Over the last year, I pressed the administration to fill the petroleum reserve, especially when the price of crude oil was low. (1/2)
