🚨 STARTING SOON! Join our small business virtual town hall at scholten.house.gov/small-biz-to.... Hope to see you there!
📢 Calling all MI-03 small business owners and entrepreneurs: I’m excited to announce a virtual town hall happening THIS WEEK focused on small businesses, tariffs, the economy, and more. If you or someone you know would be interested, visit repscholten.us/communityconvo for more info.
House Republicans just passed a bill—by one singular vote—to take health care away from millions of Americans. All while you were sleeping. But this isn’t over. The bill now heads to the Senate, which gives us time to call on our Senators to stand up and do the right thing for the American people.

Healthy housing is crucial for healthy communities, and I was pleased to meet with Samika Douglas of the Healthy Homes Coalition of West Michigan to discuss the important work of ensuring that everyone across our community has access to safe, affordable housing.
I’m committed to spurring our local economy with the help of local partners, and I’m grateful to collaborate with leaders on ways to continue delivering for our Kentwood community.
The Republican tax scam budget plan cuts health care for millions of Americans, including children with disabilities, seniors, new moms, and veterans. They’re working for billionaire donors and wealthy corporations, not the American people they represent.
Now more than ever, we need to support our health care institutions. I was honored to attend @corewellhealth.bsky.social's gala this weekend and celebrate the great work Corewell does for our community.
The Grand River Bands deserves to be a federally recognized tribe. That’s why I’m proud to lead the Grand River Bands of Ottawa Indians Restoration Act with fellow Michigander Rep. James. Our native neighbors deserve the support and resources they were promised. Read more here.
I'm laser-focused on ensuring that the aviation industry has a robust pipeline of employees and sufficient access to workforce development opportunities. It was great to collaborate with Delta employees on ways we can keep encouraging our best and brightest to pursue careers in aviation.
During Huntington’s Disease Awareness Month, I took to the House floor to recognize and honor the courage and strength of families across the nation who face lifelong hardships due to Huntington’s — including one of my own constituents, Rachel Reising and her family. Watch more here.
