Had the chance to tour Puertas Abiertas’ new building and learn more about the vital support they provide to Napa County’s Latino community. From health care to social services, they show up every day to serve our neighbors.
She continues to make history as the first Latina elected to the Board—and now as its first Latina Chair. I look forward to continuing to work with her to strengthen Sonoma County and address the impacts of federal funding cuts.
Congratulations to Rebecca Hermosillo on being selected Chair of the Sonoma County Board of Supervisors! I’m incredibly proud of Rebecca. When she worked with me, she was a tireless advocate for Sonoma County and an outstanding leader in my Santa Rosa district office.
Greenland is not up for grabs. Denmark, a NATO ally, has rightly rejected the president’s claims, and so should we. It’s embarrassing and dangerous to suggest military force is on the table. I reject that outright and will oppose any attempt to use force in Greenland. www.nbcnews.com/news/amp/rcn...
Grateful to everyone in American Canyon who showed up, asked thoughtful questions, and engaged in a great discussion about my work in Washington. It’s an honor to serve and fight for this community.
Five years ago, our democracy was tested by a violent attack on the Capitol. The scars of that day are still felt. We honor the officers who stood their ground to protect the Capitol. Democracy endures because of their courage.
We stand with the American people in opposing boots on the ground for oil and rejecting any military occupation, whether in Venezuela, Greenland, Canada, Cuba, or anywhere else. Speaker Johnson, convene the House now!
House Democrats met today to address the situation in Venezuela. There is no question that Maduro is a terrible person. There is also no question that Congress must be involved in any military operations.
The Big Ugly Law cuts $226 billion in health care funding for California. The rural Health Fund offers only a fraction of that back, and it's nowhere near enough for our rural communities. These cuts hurt rural Californians who rely on access to care. www.pbs.org/newshour/hea...
Mental health is a real challenge facing our country and cutting investments in mental health research harms us all. By getting businesses on board, we can fund this important research sooner and help our communities tackle the causes of mental health conditions.
My team and I are proud to serve #CA04! In 2025, we closed 2112 cases for constituents and recouped over $20 million in money owed to Fourth District residents. If you’re in need of help navigating a federal agency, please call my nearest office.
