How does this square?
On Monday, this administration is blowing boats out of the ocean who they suspect are trafficking narcotics. On Tuesday, the president is pardoning the former Honduran president – a proven and convicted drug trafficker who helped cartels smuggle over 400 tons of cocaine into our county.
Proud to have delivered the funding for the NVTA to continue to improve the Napa Valley's public transportation infrastructure and reduce our emissions. These new buses are a win-win for residents and our planet.
If reports are true that someone in our military, be it the Secretary of Defense or an unnamed admiral, gave an order to kill unarmed survivors of a military attack, they need to be held accountable. The House and Senate Armed Services Committees have to investigate this immediately.
Congratulations to Middletown High School on winning the North Coast Section title! The Mustangs now head into Friday's Northern California Championship game against Redding Christian. Best of luck to Coach Kurtis, Moke, and the entire team!
My team and I are proud to serve #CA04! So far this year, we’ve closed 1,939 cases for constituents and recouped $19.3 million in money owed to Fourth District residents. If you’re in need of help navigating a federal agency, please call my nearest office.
I’m committed to building on the progress of the Brady Bill and the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act with universal background checks to help keep guns away from people who are a danger to themselves or others.
It’s been 32 years since President Clinton signed the Brady Bill, requiring background checks for all purchases from federally licensed firearm dealers. This law has kept millions of guns out of dangerous hands.
Four years ago today, four students were murdered at Oxford High School in Michigan. We honor their memory, stand with the Oxford community, and recommit ourselves to doing everything we can to prevent gun violence and keep our kids safe.
Saddened to hear the news that one of the National Guard members shot this week has passed. This was a senseless murder and this violence has no place in our country. My prayers go to her loved ones as they grieve. www.axios.com/2025/11/28/t...
This Small Business Saturday, let’s show up for the local shops and entrepreneurs who help our neighborhoods thrive. Thanks for supporting the businesses that make our community special.
This month and every month, we’re committed to standing with the people who make sure their loved ones can live with dignity.
Family caregivers make huge personal and financial sacrifices, and they deserve more than just gratitude. That’s why I introduced the bipartisan Lowering Costs for Caregivers Act to help ease the financial burden families face.
Trump’s tariffs and inflation are making this holiday season more expensive than last year, and people are spending less on gifts to stretch their dollars. This isn’t a partisan issue – everyone is hurting from these tariffs.

Wishing everyone a happy and safe Thanksgiving surrounded by family and loved ones!
My prayers are with the National Guard members and their families as we await more information. (2/2)
Horrified by the shooting of two National Guard members in Washington, D.C. today. We owe a debt to every man and woman who serves our country and it is unimaginable that someone would commit this senseless act of violence against members of our military. (1/2)
The Litigation & Response Task Force is fighting to uphold the rule of law in our country, and joining their efforts will ensure that all illegal actions taken by this administration will be held to account. Democrats are here fighting for our constitution.
If you're interested in joining, contact my office for more information and encourage your friends to join with you!
The student leadership council is in its 9th year with over 250 alumni and over 150 students participating this year alone! These future leaders are learning the skills they need to succeed firsthand from community leaders.
