Proud to have secured $3.15 million for the Habematolel Pomo of Upper Lake Tribe to build a community center providing educational and workforce training opportunities, meeting and event spaces, and partnership programs that will serve the entire Lake County community.
Rooting out fraud and holding those who commit it accountable is important. It's unacceptable that the President pardoned fraudsters who committed more than $1.6 billion in Medicare and Medicaid fraud.
Great to join local leaders and ride in another successful Picnic Day Parade. There’s nothing better than bringing people together at the largest student-run event in the nation to celebrate our communities, local businesses, and the work of UC Davis students and professors.
27 years ago, 13 people were senselessly killed at Columbine High School. Today, we hold the Columbine community close and remember their legacy. We must continue our work to pass sensible legislation to keep firearms out of the hands of people who are a danger to themselves or others.
Great to join Napa Earth Day to celebrate our planet! Climate change is one of the most pressing issues facing us, and I will continue to work to conserve our beautiful lands, lower emissions, and protect our planet.
This National Volunteer Month we celebrate our friends and neighbors volunteering to help our communities and country. Thank you to everyone volunteering to provide essential services and transform our world for good.
Simple, everyday conversations help shape how future generations understand saving, protection, and long-term planning. Expanding access to financial education early in life is essential to building lasting financial confidence.

Congratulations to all of the winners for being recognized for your contributions to labor, including the Napa County Board of Supervisors for being named the 2026 Mike Thompson Legislator’s Legacy Award Winner! (2/2)
Congratulations on this year’s 16th Annual Napa-Solano Central Labor Council Spring Salute! A strong workforce is the backbone of our economy, and hard-working men and women like the members of the Napa Solano Central Labor Council keep our community moving. (1/2)
Americans deserve health policies grounded in evidence and science. Instead, we have RFK Jr. and this President elevating misinformation and undermining basic public health. Enough is enough. abcnews.com/Health/rfk-j...
Great to meet with Chico State President Steve Perez. Proud to be a CSU alum and to work with students, faculty, and administrators to help lower higher ed costs and make education more accessible.
Today, my thoughts are with the friends and families of those lost and the entire Virginia Tech community. We must continue to work to reduce gun violence and help keep our communities safe. (2/2)
19 years ago, 32 people were murdered and 23 were injured at Virginia Tech during one of the worst mass shootings in our country’s history. (1/2)
Today is Tax Day, and millions of hardworking Americans are feeling squeezed. This administration promised tax relief to working people. Instead, they delivered massive tax cuts to wealthy donors and big corporations and gave a fraction of what was promised to everyone else.
Four million miles and counting! Got to sit in the cockpit to get my certificate before returning to my regular Row 20 bulkhead seat. I fly home from Washington every week to meet with local leaders and hear directly from members of our community. It’s the only way to do this job right.
Today, we remember the eight lives lost in the senseless shooting at the FedEx warehouse facility in Indianapolis five years ago. My heart is with the victims’ friends and family members. We must continue to work to pass sensible policies that make our communities safer.
By expanding affordable housing tax credits, lowering energy bills, and decreasing the cost of healthcare for working families my American Affordability Act will ease financial strains and put money back in your pocket. (2/2)
Great to bring the community together with @rephuffman.bsky.social and Mayor McDonnell for a roundtable on affordability in Petaluma. Whether it’s housing costs, energy bills, gas prices, or more, the cost of living is too high for Americans. (1/2)
Happy Vaisakhi! May this celebration of faith and abundance remind us all of the importance of the Sikh values of charity, unity, and justice.
We should be making it easier for people to file their taxes, not scaring people away from paying. According to the Yale Budget Lab, the IRS’ new policy sharing undocumented immigrants’ private taxpayer info with immigration officials could cause up to $300B in lost tax revenue.
