Trump promised to lower prices, and broke that promise.
He's failing miserably on inflation.
Prices for health care, electricity, groceries, housing, and transportation are shooting up.
Trump's stupid tariffs and other policies are making it worse.

Glad to see @governorva.bsky.social and the General Assembly moving to ensure Virginia rejoins the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative. RGGI helped bring millions of dollars for clean energy and flood mitigation, and will help lower costs for Virginians. A good deal for our Commonwealth.
Republicans want us to vote to fund more of this.
Hell no.

BREAKING: Immigration officers are asserting sweeping power to enter homes without a judge’s warrant, a memo obtained by AP says.
Reposted byCongressman Don Beyer
🚨HOLY CRAP. An ICE whistleblower just revealed a secret memo authorizing ICE officers to break into homes without a judicial warrant, which DHS's own legal training materials say is unconstitutional!
ICE then hid the memo from the public, passing it along by word of mouth and private conversation.

It's good that Trump is backing down on his brainless Greenland threats, but this did a lot of damage with our allies that could a very long time to repair. All for nothing.
It is, however, building and emboldening opposition to tariffs within Trump's own party in Congress.

NEW: The National Weather Service has raised the winter storm threat to its highest level for Sunday for the entire DC region.
This means a high threat of a high impact winter storm that causes significant travel delays, closures and threats to life and property.
Trump is abusing his authority by levying tariffs that raise Americans' prices, hurt our economy, and alienate our closest allies.
Johnson and Republicans in Congress are letting him do it.
The Speaker should reread the Constitution.
Article I vests "power to lay and collect taxes, duties, imposts and excises" and [t]o regulate commerce with foreign nations" entirely with the Congress.
Article II gives none of these powers to the President.

Trump claims inflation is “defeated.” Tell that to Virginia families who paid $1,269 more last year.
Instead of lowering costs, Trump is fueling chaos abroad and fear at home. Americans deserve better.
Thanks to everyone who joined us for last week’s Women’s Conference and an inspiring conversation with women leaders on resilience, hope, and service to our community.
It was also an honor to recognize Nancy Eslick for her remarkable career with USAID!
Health care costs are skyrocketing.
Prices for groceries and electricity are shooting up.
Housing and transportation costs are rising rapidly.
But Trump isn't even interested in affordability.
His tariffs and other policies are making it worse:
beyer.house.gov/news/documen...
A year ago, the Trump Administration froze U.S. foreign assistance funding, a move that ultimately led to the full dismantling of USAID.
It was a cruel and reckless decision, and one that continues to have devastating repercussions around the world.

This is the behavior of a mad king or a toddler, not a U.S. President.
Trump’s bizarre and erratic behavior is making us less safe and it’s long past time for Republicans in Congress to stand up to him.
This dangerous stupidity has to stop.
In Falls Church this morning celebrating Dr. King’s legacy and struggle for freedom, justice, and equality. Thanks to all who came out!
"Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere"
— Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Letter From A Birmingham Jail
Remembering Dr. King's life and legacy as we continue his fight against injustice everywhere it exists.
A historic day in Richmond as Virginia swears in its first woman governor! Looking forward to all that the Spanberger Administration will accomplish for the Commonwealth.
Trump has no legal authority to tariff American allies to bully them into backing his brainless attempt to seize Greenland.
This is against the law, it’s a total disaster for America, and Republicans in Congress and the Supreme Court need to find their spines and stop it.
