The MAGA Republican budget cuts:
Medicaid – 14 million Americans would lose health coverage
SNAP – when 80% of SNAP households include a child, senior, or disabled person
Scam protections – just days after Hoosier families were victims of a phishing scheme.
I’m voting NO.
I'm voting against the MAGA Republican budget.
The Bipartisan Infrastructure Law made historic investments in roads, bridges, transit, and rail. Let’s keep it going!
Today, @transportdems.bsky.social welcome House colleagues to share what matters to their communities for the next surface reauthorization bill. www.youtube.com/live/fWMqy-f...
This is what democracy looks like.
Republicans’ budget would cut healthcare for 14 million Americans. The pressure is working, but we have to keep it up to stop these extreme Medicaid cuts.
Happy Mother's Day to all the amazing moms who uplift our families and strengthen our communities. Thank you for all you do. Today, we celebrate you.
Excited to welcome the newest Indianapolis Colts rookies to our great city! Best of luck as rookie camp kicks off today - can’t wait to see what this class brings to the team and our community. Go @colts.bsky.social!
By opting out, the state is denying money that was set aside for Indiana and denying food to our kids. That money doesn’t get returned to our community for a different program – it goes back to Washington.
Shameful.
Indiana’s state government refused to accept federal money to provide kids with free meals during the summer.
Women veterans often go unrecognized, which is why my office’s Sheila Corcoran Hoosier Women Hero Award honors outstanding women veterans in our community. Congrats to Kay Ross for receiving this month’s award!
What are Republicans doing today?
Not lowering costs. Not creating jobs. They’re not even promoting “efficiency.”
They’re trying to rename the Gulf of Mexico to Gulf of America.
It’s theater, not real governing.
Democrats filed a discharge petition to force a House vote to protect Medicaid and SNAP.
We only need a handful of Republicans to join us and save working families. Just a handful.
Republicans should answer to their constituents, not Donald Trump.
The Republican budget favors billionaires and the ultra-wealthy, not everyday Americans.
An Indy man has spent the last 2 months wrongfully detained because of the Trump administration’s cruel and callous policies.
This is what happens when you prioritize chaos over the rule of law. I’m calling on DHS and the DOJ to immediately correct this error.
It only costs $1.60 per person for every American to have access to fact-based news & educational content.
If you support kids’ access to educational programming, you support public broadcasting. If you support families getting information during natural disasters, you support public broadcasting.
We aren’t going to let up on pressure. Republicans should answer to their constituents, not Donald Trump.
Trump’s budget proposal is so bad, even his own supporters are opposing it.
That’s because it would cut public schools, public safety, & tank our economy – all to help his billionaire donors avoid paying taxes.
I'm going live with Tina Cosby and House Democratic Whip Katherine Clark @whipkclark.bsky.social at 11:30am to discuss how we're fighting back and moving forward. Tune in! www.youtube.com/live/uG0B0Qj...

In his first 100 days, Trump has rolled back clean energy investments and decades of safeguards that save communities. Thank you @carson.house.gov for speaking out against Trump's rollbacks. #100Days100Harms
Don’t forget! I’m holding a community conversation with @whipkclark.bsky.social on Friday to answer your questions and share how Democrats are fighting back. Register here: forms.office.com/pages/response…
The Republican budget cuts Medicaid for tens of millions of Americans and takes food away from children, seniors, and veterans.
Republicans are tanking the economy and destroying programs Americans rely on – all to give huge tax breaks to billionaires.
