🚨Housing costs in NH outpace incomes by more than 5X. Think about that. We need to build WAY more homes and to change HOW we build homes. 🚨That’s why Rep. Mike Flood and I are leading a bipartisan bill to cut the red tape driving up the cost of building affordable homes.
Today, I sat down with healthcare leaders who are on the frontlines working to deliver affordable, quality care to communities across NH. I’ll never stop fighting to ensure every Granite Stater gets the healthcare they need when they need it and where they need it.
Child care is one of the biggest cost challenges facing NH families, and the Y is meeting it head-on. Grateful to the amazing team at the YMCA of Greater Nashua for being the most can-do partners I could ever ask for in our work to make high-quality childcare affordable for everyone in NH.
NH’s future is being built at Nashua Community College. From the microelectronics bootcamps to the early childhood education classroom, I got to spend time with the students and educators powering our workforce on pathways to a stronger Granite State. Proud to fight for you in Congress.
Thank you to the amazing students, teachers, and parents from the Northwood School for visiting the People's House last week! NH students are the future, and it was wonderful to welcome them to our Nation's Capitol and see their curiosity, enthusiasm, and commitment to learning in action. 🇺🇸
It was a busy week of healthcare conversations in the People's House last week. Grateful for the partnership of advocates, providers, veterans, and community leaders who are fighting to ensure every Granite Stater can get the healthcare they need — when they need it and where they need it.
Loved being in Salem with the incredible team at Salem Family Resources for the inaugural miles4mom & fun4family 5K. It was energizing to celebrate the families, volunteers, and community leaders who are working to make Salem stronger every day. 🇺🇸
Today, on Women Veterans Day, we remember and honor the women of America who for 250 years have put their lives on the line in service to our country in uniform. Our military is stronger because of the women we honor today — no executive order, no president, will ever erase that.
The USPS is a promise that every American—no matter where they live—stays connected. Grateful to join the Postal Service Caucus for an important discussion about protecting reliable mail delivery, supporting our postal workers, and ensuring our rural communities get the service they depend on.
When workers put in the hard and essential work to form a union, they’re too often met with endless delay tactics and stonewalling — it’s just not right. I was proud to cosponsor our bipartisan bill, rally the 218 signatures we need to force a vote, and pass it in the House today.
Congratulations to the Leadership NH Class of 2026! It was an honor to celebrate this group of leaders from every corner of our state and the power of leadership across NH. Our future is bright because people of good faith are willing to step up and build bridges that make us stronger. 🎓🇺🇸
Last week in Whitefield, I spent time with Jeanne Robillard and the extraordinary team at Tri-County CAP. I left in awe. Tri-County CAP shows up for thousands of Granite Staters every single day. I’ll never stop fighting for the federal investments that make your mission-critical work possible.
Some GOOD news from the last few days: ✅ The House passed our bipartisan Iran War Powers Resolution. ✅The House passed our bipartisan Ukraine Support Act. ✅HASC passed our bipartisan bill to ensure American troops recoup the right to repair their own equipment.
Every American deserves the freedom to live with dignity, safety, and equality under the law. Pride is a celebration of that freedom and a reminder that our work is not done. I’ll never stop fighting in Congress to ensure that the promise of equal justice and equal opportunity belongs to everyone.
