Birth control isn’t a luxury. It’s essential healthcare.
That’s why I introduced the Access to Birth Control Act—to protect your choices for school, work, and family.

In our district, 153,298 people rely on Social Security.
Unlike President Trump and House Republicans, who have consistently threatened to cut Social Security benefits, @HouseDemocrats.bsky.social and I are tirelessly fighting to safeguard the benefits you have earned.
Want you to know how I am fighting to lower costs and protect affordable healthcare for you in Washington, DC?

ICE raids hurt our local stores.
Families stayed home, sales dropped, and jobs were lost.
Our neighborhoods deserve safe streets and thriving businesses.
This holiday season, support a local small business—join me for Small Business Saturday!

Despite the promises made by Donald Trump and House Republicans, they have not lowered costs; instead, they are increasing them.
As we enter the winter months, many Americans are receiving skyrocketing electricity bills.
You deserve better.
Congress forced Trump to release the Epstein files, the first of many steps in the process to bring justice for the victims and transparency to the American people. @housedemocrats.bsky.social and I will keep fighting to make sure everything is made public.
Black Friday is here, yet it’s unlike any other year.
Many families are cutting back this year, choosing essentials over splurges because of rising costs due to President Trump's tariffs and inflation.
The rule of law prevails.
The baseless cases against former FBI Director James Comey and New York Attorney General Letitia James have been dismissed because the interim U.S. Attorney Lindsey Halligan—and Trump’s former personal lawyer—was appointed illegally.

This year, the cost of Thanksgiving has increased by 10% due to the actions of Trump and the Republicans.
I’m standing up to these policies and fighting like hell to make things more affordable for families.
Happy Thanksgiving. 🦃🍽️
Today we slow down, share a meal, and appreciate the people who lift us up. I am grateful to represent such strong and caring communities. I know this season can be hard for some families; I will keep working every day to support you.
🍂🦃 My offices will be closed on November 27 and November 28 for Thanksgiving. If you need help, please call and leave a voicemail or visit robinkelly.house.gov/address_auth...
ICE’s Operation Midway Blitz exposed families in my district to reckless, fear-driven tactics, including a raid at an apartment building in South Shore.
I visited that apartment to tell residents I’m fighting to restore the safety and dignity our communities lost during these traumatic raids.
My thoughts and prayers are with the families of the National Guard troops that were shot today.
I am grateful for the swift response of our first responders who prevented further tragedy.
This is a real story. From a real person in my district who has to face real choices between healthcare, a new job, or sacrificing other basic necessities.
I’m fighting for HER.
Today with Mercedes & Leon, I announced my plans to introduce the WELLS Act—brand-new legislation to implement safe discharge plans.
Mercedes Wells was discharged from a hospital while in active labor. That never should have happened, and I’ll make sure it never happens again.
I am fighting alongside @HouseDemocrats.bsky.social to extend Affordable Care Act tax credits because families deserve lower health costs.
Republicans are blocking this work.
I will keep up the good fight for affordable care for all.
My constituent works hard in the agriculture industry and depends on ACA tax credits to stay covered. Without them, her premium jumps from $336 to $914 a month. That is not affordable.
No one should live in fear of losing coverage.
I am fighting for her.
I’m going live at 10:30 AM with Mercedes Wells, who was forced to deliver her baby in a car after being discharged while in labor.
I’m introducing legislation to make sure no other mom experiences this pain. Watch live on Facebook: www.facebook.com/reprobinkell...
Thank you to everyone who joined me for today's Social Security and Medicare Town Hall.
My constituents have been my north star since I took office in 2013.
Your questions and stories drive my work in Congress and keep me focused on delivering for our community.
ICE’s detention of pregnant women risks serious injury or even death. This cannot continue.
I led 60 lawmakers in sending a letter to DHS/ICE, demanding that they follow federal regulations protecting pregnant women from detainment and inhumane mistreatment.
